Hi all,
I dont want to put a load of shit-talk in here, so here's the idea:
Some days ago i read the free music advertise on rfugrey.co.uk and that made me think of something i wanna do some months ago already.
A hardcore compilation that wont be for sale, but only will spreaded on the net. A proper 2/3 cd free download album mixed from music contributed to the project, to get more respect for hardcore!
I have mailed james (rfugrey.co.uk webhoster) about it and he said the following (dont want to copy the whole answer, only the relevant part)

I've got some track near completion I'd be happy to contribute... You'd have to listen and tell me if you think any are of a high enough standard though.

i think its a great idea!
while id luv to do a mix, i dont hav the tunes, and am sure other guys in here are much betetr djs then myself.
however, i do hav a friend who produces and has some fantastic tunes that could go on there if it were to go ahead.
just pm me if ur interested :D
luv the idea tho! if it goes ahead i'll do heaps of promoting around the west australia hardcore scene :D

I don't think you understood what I was saying... I have a few tracks nearly finished and I'll give you permission to use them in this project if you want them. i want to give it a try mixing it... also i got least 1 tune and bulby and me thinkin of making one.. infact im workin on it already!!
would be more then happy if i got a go for mixin least one of the cd's

Of course i understood you, but we cant load 3 cd's with tracks from some of you unsigned talent..would be great if some of you tracks will join the project though!
Pm me with some demo's, thanks alot!
Edit: And i get it you all want to mix a cd, but we just have to wait some time, maybe, IF the project will continue to a higher level, cube::hard wants to mix a cd, tbh he was the first one i thought about.

So do you want unsigned talent? Or just some unsigned talent, and lots of well known tunes? I think it would be great to hear an unsigned talent CD! It would be really cool  Myself and some friends might want to contribute!

It's a nice idea, I think one way you *might* get some tracks from some 'known' DJs on there is if you ask about rips, I'm sure some of the producers have made some good rips of tunes to play out, but are unlikely to get realeased or appear on a commercial CD... just a thought anyway...
I'd post this on ush.net aswell if you haven't already, lots of producers browse there.
