Can't think of another that sticks out at the moment but that tune has so many memories (as does the original Angels Eyes)

ok yes its been over remixed but the vocals are immense and this remix just stands above the rest and captures the feeling of the music at that particular moment in time just as the original did back in the 90's but my fave remix is:
n-trance - set you free (hixxys bonkers 9 remix)

I'm sorry but I agree with Sk8SiM, Angel Eyes should never have been remixed.

Can't agree there, V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D turned it into a masterpiece. Squad-E and Re-Con defiled it though, there I can agree.

Angels Eyes Was Already A Classic!!!
Remixing it is like someone from Aston supoorting Man City in football lol - GLORY HUNTING!
They already know there on to money, evan if they do a shit mix (like they did! lol)
IMO Remixs Are Good For A Few Things...
A) Bringing back the old to the nu, making new versions so that the track can live on in the future! And so you can get that same "Brand New Sencation" from that track that dates back years!
B) Mixing a Classic track from one genre, into another... so the whole EDM famirly can mix it in the clubs & enjoy it! Not just that, but also away to take on a different market that was successful in another!
C) Retrying something new on a Unsuccessful track! By ofcource the artsits that remain passanite about that track...
D) Having another artist mix there style or take of the track... For diffrent tatses and styles!
I'm sorry but... evan though Recon falls under "D"
It still comes across that raverbaby are somehow glory hunting for money!!
Not just that... but when you judge a "remix" you judge it on how good the original was and is this mix better?... do you not?
So having played the Original Angels Eyes over and over, and am yet to be bord of it today!
I would kindly comment on these Four Lovly words on recons mix...
"The Track Sucked Ass!!!"
But you'd still have little RB bumboys all "Omg Omg Recon Recon" treating them like rockstars (Rather then DJ's!)
NO MATTER WHAT THEY RELEASE!
It hasn't happened yet, but as soon as the day comes where i say the words "Angel Eyes" and some little bum boy stands up and goes...
"Oh yea, Recon!"
