While Freeform remains the best genre of Hardcore, Upfront, UK, Mainstream Hardcore is fast becoming club music! I was listening to a Drum and Bass mix today and though 'what have I been issing?' good beat patterns, mixed well and only a small bit of vocals!

I havn't enjoyed a mix since I downloaded DMS's Bouncy Techno mix a few months ago! However this Drum and Bass mix is new(ish) and is with the times, unlike Upfront UK Hardcore which is stuck in 2003!

So is Drum and Bass slowly moving in on Hardcore? or is this just a phase as Hardcore will explode again when Freeform gets a boost and Bouncy Techno makes a grand return!

I thought Bouncy Techno was Scott Brown and all the Scottish DJs circa 1994? I might look into it...

I disagree with your statement about how freeform is the best genre of hardcore...To me its more sped up trance than anything else. I find it rather boring and bland. Its all about the 95-99 happycore, you can never go wrong with the classics.
