Good luck mate, and congrats on your first gig!
Just work the crowd in gently from the hip hop. If it was me I'd be starting off slowish tempo, some more breakbeaty tunes etc. Work them into your usual style (whatever that is!) slowly and you'll be fine!

man if u want the best start off i would suggest to sart off with the start of dj bluecore candy vol 9 i think, just the bit were it starts of with 50 cent candy shop and then it stops and a chick sayes wat the hell is that shit lol and then slam the crowd with a song lyk Scott Brown - Serial Killer or sumting in the area that has a bit of hip-hop kinda but remixed to hardcore.
but i dunno thats my guess
