see??!? I CAN do positive threads, Let's all ask hixxy if we can have a DJ to mix hardcore-breaks for XVII!
so you could have like
dj hixxy doing vocally Upfront-hardcore for the binge drinking women and chavs
dj sharkey doing freeform for all the benders.
dj scottbrown doing his wannabe-gabba sets for the people who think they are 'ard
and a hardcore-breaks dj (twista? luna c? nee?) for all the dudes and skaters
right who has hixxy's phonenumber? ahhhh **** the phone number... who has his address? I'll come round to his house and tell it to his face.
but seriously, hardcorebreaks seems to be listened to be people over 30. cause they were the guys lovin it at the time. we need like the 10-30 people liking hardcorebreaks COME ON! let's ave ya!
none of this raverbaby bollox! fight the bollox and put rave back into rave music.

I thought I'd never see the day =D
Seems possible to me. But i doubt Hixxy would be the one who calls the shots for Bonkers, probably have more of a chance contacting someone from Resist.

I dunno, the Hardcore Breaks scene seems REAL keen to stand seperate from UK hardcore.
Why don't they do their own CD series? Why latch on to the series that surely represents all they have rejected and loathe?
Bonkers would do far better to try and be more varied within it's own scene, perhaps put some "new talent" on one CD, or at least push for their inclusion on the production side on one of the existing CDs.

once again ur attitude towards Sharkey sucks. Probably will be the best cd on bonkers 17. Out of all the djs who have appeared on bonkers sharkey has been the most progressive throughout his mixes consistently coming out with good mixes and track selection.

Good idea but Freefrom isn't for benders and not everyone who listens to Upfront Hardcore are binge drinkers and chavs!

Indeed!
I've been spending alot of time over at hardcorebreaks.co.uk and i've learnt that some of it can be as slow as 130bpm lol not really "hardcore" then... but still.. its hardcore breaks - ANYTHING GOES!!!
At the moment though from what i've learnt, hardcore breaks is too small to even consider what your saying 95... the scene doesn't seam to know what to do with itself as the artists are just exploring what they can do with the genre! after all the sound & style has been left on its one for so long and had nothing done with it! - few artist have stayed true to the original sound ofcource (Luna-C is one example) but other then that, if you wanted amen type rave music I'm guessing most artists just dived into the worlds of jungle & dnb...
^^ thats what i've come to learn in the last few weeks anyways!
Give it time guys...
Btw 95... happyhardcore.com is really not the place to talk about this kind of stuff :)
Trust me i know I'm just waiting now for someone to start ripping my knowleadge apart and start acusing me of using wizardora (or whatever that pitty little website is)
But for what it counts... your attuide stinks and freeform isn't gay

Dear 95,
Thank you for your attempt at being constructive. Unfortunatly, you have yet again failed. Please go and die in a pool of your own faeces.
