Sweet baby jesus on a pogo stick.
That sucked. The break couldn't go more than 1 bar without completely collapsing. The synth sounds sounded like something 1982 put in a bin marked "forget immediately". The levels were all wrong. There was little to no arranging. I mean, you've got about an iota of talent at constructing some decent beginnings of riffs, but all you did was gathered together a few of them, slapped them together with a bad breakbeat and called it breakbeat hardcore.

are you taking the piss? this is my best work, and it upsets me to think you lot can be so picky and narrowminded. I tried my best, ok I know the breakbeat is a little bit off and the structure get's lost, but until i hear YOUR stuff i won't know for sure who the retard is.

Sure man. A lot of my stuff is at http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=485297&T=3930. I wouldn't say it's perfect, but I don't think it could possibly be worse than that song.

I liked :41-:47, everything else just sounded too random
fix your breakbeat so that it loops. most of your snare rolls and hi hats are out of sync with the rest of the tune....fix your timing so it flows

ick, pretty much what Brian said.
Theres some nice ideas in there, but they don't fit well together. All the timing is way out - impossible to dance to! Theres bits out of tune. Your levels are out (your snare fill break is like 10 times as loud as your main break) and theres just generally no structure to it whatsoever. Its like you;ve just gone into your sample collection and picked a few samples, not bothered to stretch them to the right pitch / tempo and just dropped them in randomly.
What you need to do:
get all your stuff to the same tempo
listen to some tunes and disect them looking to see what makes them work (structure-wise)
Go back and tidy it up
Stuff should be in 4/4 time, and generally it would be recorded in measures of either 4, or more usually 8 bars - so each "section" is made up of 8 bars. Not 1.75 bars.

http://download.yousendit.com/908C567201E280FE My First Ever attepmt at hardcore Breaks type tune too Its not exactly hardcorebreaks but its "my Style" of compsing music incorporated into that style... So treat it like an experiment! Just like other producers i'm just exploring the possibilities of this style of music before it becomes "not hardcore breaks anymore" 160bpm Breakbeat - 4/4 kick drum layered over top... offbeat bass's and wide bass's... pianos (2 of them!) emerson synth ect (tell ya what... just listen to it yeah! - you'll get the picture!) Theres 2 parts - each 16 bars... Personally i like the 2nd one i think you will too (Tis rather sexy!) Oh... and this is its first render don't expect perfect mixdowns and eq... and it can somethings sound a bit silly after time... but still... ...I ansered your question didn't I! thing is though, your the guy who clams to have more EXP in the hardcore breaks indestry! Where as I hardly know scooby doo about it !
