Morrall Studios Presents, A Sk8SiM HardCore Production
Open Your Mind!!!
There is a sweetshop, where as you walk in you’re immediately dazzled by the amount of choice at your grapse. So much to look at, so much to see, each sweet with its own unique taste and feel… each to suit one unique and genuine style that one ordinary human carries.
This was great for relations and socialising… people would talk to one another about each taste and great conversation were started. Two beans would walk away having learnt something about the opposites style that they posses.
People were keen to learn more, they kept revisiting the sweetshop anticipating the need to learn more and more… some tastes made them feel sick, others made them jump for joy. Some made them smile, some made them sad. Some toke them to places they had never been before, where as others toke them to a very dark place.
But unfortunately, this tale failed to be told… as this sweetshop was on the other side of the river only to be neglected by the world as we know it today. It is a place that could have coursed relations and joy! It could have given the world a means of originality, giving each human the right to be different and the choice to like what they like…
Instead… there were trolls that feed the world chocolate! Humans begun to sink into the taste and didn’t want to leave… the trolls had fed them the right to be insane, and soon many people wanted to cash in on this…
The sweetshop however, was forgotten about… many people still visit, but no one ever knows of its beauty!
This sweet shop is called “electronic music”
And its story of its true beauty… has still never been told!

I've just been pasing up and down my room brainstorming, and it hit me! i've had a great idea!!!!!
Then... i sat down and wrote that ^^^^^
I'm thinking of making a feature film next year  We'll see though

Wow, the idea sounds awesome :) Sounds like lots of work, but if all goes well, I can't wait to see the final project. My only question is, how are you going to do it all?

people like what they like, if chocolate is more popular than sports mixture then you can only blame the beans for liking it more

Yeah but mate... we haven’t even fed them the sweets on the plate yet!

People need to wake up and smell the coffee! Who the hell are you selling your music to... if half the world is up there own arse and won't open there mind (or arsehole) to what is REALLY OUT THERE!
My goal is simple... get that knowledge out there!
Feed it to them on a plate - if they like it, they like it - if they don't, they don't!
It’s not about trying to sell more records mate - if you read most of the b*llshit I post on this forum I think I’ve made that point clear!
Its simply about giving people knowledge they didn't have before... letting them knows were here... and what music IS out there....
Whether they pick up on it and follow along is simply up to them and about there taste! All my job is, is to stir tastebuds they probably never knew they had before!
But I grantee the industry will change over night!

youll find this problem with any genre in the music industry or infact many things in life. its called generalisation and stereotyping

well said Sk8SiM, i totally agree with you there, see alot of my friends think that the kind of music that i like is all the same, it just
goes "doof doof doof doof" but when i try to explain all the different types of hardcore and trance they just turn there nose up and
not listen. but if people just listen and could understand maybe they might actually give it a chance and enjoy the sweet music.

I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks about what i listen to, and i don't try to explain to them why i like what i listen to, i simply don't give a crap what anyone else thinks, i listen to it for me not them.
If they are narrow minded about the music you listen then it's because they don't have the potential to see what you think it is good about it, they think it out of narrow mindedness, so why bother trying to explain?
Honestly, who cares, if they were going to like it, they would like it anyway. If they are narrow minded about it it's because they wouldn't like it anyway, not everyone likes Hardcore, narrow minded or not so it's pointless trying to point out that Hardcore is good when it is just a matter of opinion, it's not technically any better than any other real music genre, you just happen to like it more than any others, but that doesn't necessarily mean anyone else will like it that much :P I like Hardcore more than any other genre, but i'm also aware that that is just because i like it more than others :P
Pretty much what Gammer said!
Electronic music is highly recognised and appreciated, there is no shortage of people who like it. The Americans are much worse off!

I love happy hardcore and dont care if other people think its shite i have grown up with it and have all the cd's and tape's to show for it!
As long as its happy then thats all that matters to me!
Over 15 years happy hardcore is what i love!
And my kids love it to!

The only problem with our industry is the constant hoard of people moaning about there being a problem. Pretty much like matt hard2get said, why should we care what other people think anyways?
Theres always gonna be genres that overshadow the sub genres, people will decide for themselves what they like, if they crave a bit more they'll go exploring on there own.
I work in this industry remember! not just in hardcore either, i see it happening all the time!!!!
ps. Im not out to argue or prove anyone wrong, I respect alot of what Sk8Sim says, but sometimes, I feel as a human being that I have to debate :)

what i find to be really stupid about ppl is that often if u play hardcore and dont tell ppl its hardcore, they'll say they like it. but if u tell someone ur goin to play them some hardcore, then play it, they'll say they wont.
closed minded ppl are stupid, but what can u do?
u can enjoy what u enjoy without a single care as to what others think of it.
ultimately, y does it matter if other ppl like the same thing as u?
live life for urself, not for other's opinions
