have you heard the actual track though?
when i first heard the clip, it sounded like garbage to me, but having heard the full track, it's not bad. doesn't touch the original obviously, but it was a lot better than the clip led me to believe.
it's called brisk & vagabond - eyeopener 2007 f/c on next gen, btw
the flip is a tune also, nice distorted kick goin on

The Doc: i hope u are disappointed with this piece of poop track and not with my post about how much the track sucks.
the only reason i'm expressing my utter disappointment with it is that this has got to be one of my more favourite classic tracks and the first track that got me into hardcore to begin with.
the vocals just make my ears want to puke. i don't know if brisk and vagabond could have made a worse choice for the vocalist if they actually tried! the rest of the tune is average at best...
i heard it on (i think) DJ fracus's live radio show today, so yes, i have heard the full track. i'll be avoiding it like the plague when it comes out.
i was so pumped when i heard there was a new mix coming out. it's just too bad it had to suck this much.

sorry! I meant the track aswell like you! Kutski played it on Radio 1 last week and i just thought "why bother" Brisk and Vagabond have done f**k all to it! the original was great and the Scott Brown remix took it to another level, but now its a case of so what! It really is a shite remix!

even the scott brown mix i found to be pretty lacking...
i mean, it's cool that it has that "harder" sound to it, but i'm with you on the original. i have a hard time of thinking of another HHC song that pretty much sums up the genre other than that one.

http://www.nextgenerationrecords.co.uk/audio/nextgen/ram/ng025aa..ram Not a big fan of the new remix, B&V could have done much more with it, they're so good but yet they churn out this Enviromental Product is a much better track imo.

Isn't Scott Brown - Rubbenut also a remix of Eyeopener:
http://www.discogs.com/release/155292 Anyway, no remix is ever gonna come close to the original Brisk & Trixxy one, t'is surely one of the best hardcore tracks of the 90's... everyone should leave it alone!!!
