I've heard some pretty good D&B sets from Slipmatt & Sy a while back (when Hardcore had more in common with D&B than Hard House). Around '99 to '01 Trance was pretty good. I bought quite a bit of it back then before it went cr@p. Maybe he just liked it and thought he'd have a go at producing something!

Who really cares?

Maybe he is "hard to the core to the bone"etc. That doesn't stop him making other types of music. Anyone with a big interest in music is going to like more than one genre.

Personally I hate Scouse House but the fact that Slipmatt makes it doesn't mean I respect him any less.

it's like a faster, happier house with a donk bassline, which, after 15 minutes of listening to, makes you want to die!
