Music 2000
nah, that was the old days. I'm using Reason & fl @ the mo. I think Reason is very user friendly compared to fl & you can't beat the realtime synths of Reason but as you all say, the quality of Reason as a whole isn't really the best but here's hoping they can get that sorted in future versions.
IMO, Reason could be king if they could better the sound quality

Cubase all the way. Loads of features full VST support, great sidechaining, the best in the biz.
Watched a vid on the Computer Music DVD the other day of Styles and Breeze breaking down their remix of 'Amigos'. They really got the best out of Cubase and show you how to get that big hardcore sound.
Cubase is the one, I've been loving it for years...

i understand your cubase patriotism but what they did with amigos can be done on most DAWs they just used allot of raw audio files Nexus which is on Mac and Sylinth1 which is also on Mac.
You can pull any sound on any DAW if you know it well enough there is no specific DAW that will help you make your hardcore productions sound better its all down to engineering abilities and knowledge of your DAW.
brisk and ham, sharkey, impact (for abit) and afew other use logic and you could not really say that they have not been able to pull that “hardcore sound” with there DAWs
