Cubase for everything :)
I strongly advise it over reason for proffessional work. Although don't stick with it if you don't like it; i just advise trying it :)

cubase doesnt give "a better sound" than other sequencers. For anything that has VST support, for example, z3ta is gonna sound the same in each one, and you should be exporting as .wav anyway... which is the same in every sequencer.
I hate when people say that shit.

Each DAW has a different audio engine and it's these differences that cause each one to sound different from the next. A single sound on its own will sound the same in each (it should, anyway) but when you're mixing together many sounds comprising a full track there will be subtle differences. Reason's audio engine is relatively poor compared to the others (Cubase, Logic, Live, FL, Pro Tools, etc) which is why people often suggest that you should, at the very least, Rewire your Reason track into another DAW to mix it, so you can bypass the subpar internal audio engine (and also make use of better-sounding VST plugins that you can't run in Reason).
For example, Cubase/Nuendo/FL use a 32-bit float engine, the new Live uses 64-bit, PT uses 40-bit fixed. You may think such miniscule differences in accuracy will have no appreciable effect on your end product, given you'll probably listen to it at 16-bit, but when you're dealing with dozens of sounds being mixed together, all of which having been processed and gain adjusted, the increased level of accuracy really makes a difference.

I like Logic, the latest version is as easy as it can get compared to the older ones and really sounds good. Many say it sounds the best (unless you compare to PT HD system that is in a different $K range)

Thats not true at all.
For example, there's a huge difference in engines from Cubase SX3 to Cubase 4. When I used logic a few weeks ago, I was using all the same samples that I normally use for my drum kits and bass and right away I could tell the difference.

you can make hardcore on dance ejay?? i was under the impression that went only up to 160bpm :P
you need to get rave ejay which has actual hardcore and gabber samples in it and goes up to 180bpm :P haha
seriously though
FL8 and the usual synths everyone else is using - though i avoid vanguard like the plauge....too many cds seem to have been released which blatently use the pre-set vanguard stuffs.
ive used reason and cubase, and enjoyed them - though i always seem to double back to FL8
