um illustrating a point?

There is an extremely large amount of hate on this board and people just say shit. Nothing of value - just shit.

There is MEANT to be an attitude of openness and acceptance to EVERYONE in the rave scene and there are a LOT of people here who wont demonstrate that.

Yeah nobody's beliefs or anything should be forced on anyone else but **** its kandi... like wow you cant accept people wearing colourful bracelets what CAN you accept? Yeah there are exceptions with people that wear WAY too much but they are exceptions.

**** seriously if this is how people in the UK and the US react to something as small as a kandi scene then **** you MAKE me not want to go to raves in your country.

And just so you know - thats NOT a good thing.

Id like to hear anyone argue the fact that the rave scene is meant to have an aura of acceptance... thats usually something you can always count on regardless of where geographically you're talking about.

Seriously some of you need to remember what ****ing scene you're in and where SPECIFICALLY you're posting right now.

Shit this isnt even just about kandi anymore.

The scene is alot less freindly here now, because the raves are alot bigger and commercialised; if your raves were as commercialised then it would be the same too. As for staring a conversation with just anyone, well you can definately do that always :P

Kinda contradict yourself there, huh? Dang dude, its just a fun thing to do. Its been that way over here in America since 1995/1996. Its just a fashion that goes along with our rave scene. Nearly all our of biggest Hardcore parties are 6 year old themed like The Candy Festival, or Candyland, Care-A-Lot, Seasme Street, Whinnie The Pooh, Pokemon, etc. You know if the the flyer is kid-themed, its going to have Hardcore music there becuse that's just how it is portrayed over here. Heck! Look at Hullabaloo, some of the world's biggest Hardcore events full of thousands of candy kids. And The Candyball that is going on in NYC. They are trying to push the candy kid concept and Hardcore music forward. Hardcore & candy kids go together. Get over it. Its not a "cult" or nothing. Damn!

Are you in a paedophile cult or something? Why the **** would an adult male want to wear a giant bonnet and nappy to go out to listen to music?

Thats some ****ed up shit.

1) Ush to avoid hate? riiiiiiiiiiiight.

2) yes i picked up on your sarcasm.

3) You're actually one of the people im talking about.

Like before you said Hardcore is music not a scene. Biggest load of ******** ive ever heard. If its just music and not a "scene" then why, for god's sake, are you posting about your opinions? in a GENERAL discussion board, with other ravers?

Qualifies as a scene imo. Also

"Im all for freedom of expression, but thats just ****ing gay."

So, let me get this straight, you're ALL FOR people being expressive, but are going to be judgmental about it as well? Kinda defeats the purpose then doesnt it, chief?

I enjoy discussing music on a public forum. It does not make me part of a cult or scene.

Your missing the point. There is no scene, its just a particular style of music. Its not a movement or a revolution. Its just music, **** all the other ********.

Fair enough, if you want to dress like a ****, you go right ahead. But why cry about it on a public forum and make yourself look like a militant gay.

AH here we go.

So because i wear two bracelets im a militant gay?

And yes there is a scene how naive are you? You think a bunch of people that go to parties for a specific genre, buy music of that genre, go to forums on that genre, and wear clothes from that genre are not part of a scene?

please.
