Chilll
I'm planning to move to the U.K. for uni.
Already have been accepted to one in London,
but still applying to more atm.
It's funny how everyone is always like, why someone wants to move/go to their own country..it's bad, etc. But I suppose it's just that people always want what they don't have and don't appreciate things they do have that other people want.

The U.K is decent, its just the government that are crap
I don't think that's true, it's just you people only notice the bad things that happen, throwing aside the good things without so much as a praise. For instance, Blair has done wonders for the N.H.S. in his time, but everyone spent their time having a go at him for going into Iraq. I don't support the invasion, but I still know that it wasn't the only thing Blair did with his time. I think some people should stop ranting about their government, get off their arses and do something if they're so concerned about it. I wonder how many people on this site actually vote.

blair definatly did some good things, i dont think the NHS was one of them though
Mhmm, I could name far more than just the NHS. Although can't just say Blair and Bush are bad, they're just a more extreme example of Governments that have preceeded them.
I don't want to live in the UK or the US. Both countries governments use of power and influence are an absolute disgrace. Any other leader doing the same would be labeled a terrorist or dictator.

Is the UK such a crap place to live? Can't be bothered getting into all the politics, but like Bulby g said, everywhere has its problems.
