Sorry in advance if something like this has been posted before....
Ok so i just posted on an event where im going to see Vibes and Livelee live for the first time ever.....Since the first Happy hardcore i ever heard was a vibes and livelee tape i started thinking what if my friend hadnt lent me this ragged old defaced tape with no labels and bad quality sound because itd had been recorded over so many times.
What if i had never gotten into hardcore? Would my life be different? Would i of taken my mind to new levels of chemical ecstasy? Would i still get cold rushes down my spine and goosebumps the size of a porn stars nipples for other music? Would i be the person i am today if hardcore wasnt in my life?
I know im almost making out that Hardcore is like a religion but its always been said that raving/hardcore is a way of life.....
So how different would your life be if youd never got into hardcore/raving and the whole scene?

Dont think would be much different, just rave to diff techno and dnb and everything else i do anyway.
Without ravin life would be very diff, probably be more sucessful and brain be a bit less fuzzy but wouldnt have half the mates/memories.

hardcore for me is a religion. there isnt a day that goes by that i dont listen to it or post on a hardcore forum.
hardcore is like a drug, you cant give it up, cant let go.. not that i want to either!
i cant say what my life would be like if i hadnt got into hardcore, as im into it.. more than likley be a commercial head - in which case i would of committed suicide!

I'd have a lot more money, and less silver hairs.

My life would be nothing without core. Cause I don't like any other genres than core. Just gives me the right feeling. ;)

I wish I could be as hardcore about hardcore as uncle Google, haha.
I think if it wasn't for hardcore, I'd be pretty mainstream, which I can't imagine myself being.

Still be listening to J pop probably, and spend a whole lot less time listening to music.

I listen to D&B as much as i listen to Hardcore so i guess i'd just listen to that. As for being a different person i'm not too sure but blasting Hardcore down my ears from the age of 10 has got to have had some effect!

My life will be boring & I wont need to save all my money on Hardcore stuff so I will waste it on other stuff! Ecstasy would have been boring as well with no classics to listen to! I listened to a Bouncy Techno mix once on pills & it was beaut!
I think I would listen to classical if it wernt for Hardcore lol

About sums it up for me. I started to listen to Jungle about the same time as I did hardcore and have listened to and still listen to a whole list of other "rave music" genres over the years.
I may not have started producing had it not been for hardcore though, even though I produce a few different genres now.
