Doesn't bother me at all. I've never smoked anything. Never wanted too either. Horrible habit. Prefer a nice cold pint instead.

In the US, it's a Class I drug, grouped with cocaine and heroin. Doesn't make any sense.
Fun fact:
It's physically impossible for you to overdose on marijuana.

Did you know: that cannabis gets u high because of the plants natural poison???? Like nettles sting, roses have thorns etc that is the plants natural defense so insects dont eat it......

IMO there are bigger things for the government to worry about than marijuana.
And just because it's a natural defense against insects doesn't mean it's necessarily bad for human beings :P

wrong! it gets u high because of the THC and canibanoid chemical reaction to the plants need for pollen to pollinate the female plant,
The male plants do not make THC as they produce pollen for the females, The strength of the drug (THC) increase the more time u keep the female plant on a 12 hour light cycle, and eventually the flowers turn to buds which u smoke and u get high off the THC

Personally I think it's a horrible drug. Really ****s up your head if you do it too long with any regularity and turns you into an unsociable, boring wanker. Hate the stuff these days.
At the end of the day though, the police should be worrying about actual crime! If they're going to reclassify drugs they should redo the whole list (it's all wrong and they know it) and include tobacco, alcohol, etc so young people can get a feel for how bad they are.
This was the proposed one that was put together, looks pretty spot on.

Actually looks like they're both right (except the no poison bit). They think Tetrahydrocannabinol is the plants natural defence against herbivores. It seems THC is their "poison".

i'm not directing this at anyone on here in perticular, just the public in general, but it does puzzle me how anyone can comment on how harmful cannabis is (not including skunk, that shit is awful) when they're sat with a pint in their hand. i've never seen anyone smoke cannabis, then have the same sort of reactions they get from drinking alcohol. the aggression, the anti-social behavior or the complete loss of self-control and neither me nor anyone else i know have developed schizophrenia from cannabis use. so the government reclassifying cannabis, to me, is utter bollocks.

Yes mate.
I think skunk is pretty bad tbh. I know people who have developed varying degrees of schizophrenia from it. I myself developed pretty bad paranoia, serious mood swings, self loathing, memory problems and lost my ability to socialise well with people I didn't already know. Thankfully, having given up a long time ago now I've shaken off the worst of it and am pushing on with a normal life! I did have a serious habit though (1/8-1/4 a day) and I'm talking high grade skunk, no one smokes normal weed or hash round here.
All drugs are a problem if you let it turn into a habit though and I've seriously learnt my lesson! I do agree with you that a drink problem is at least on the same level as regular cannabis use.
