One good thing about that is that people could use member's tracks in their own mixes & as mixes can be uploaded round the web, many people could download them & put them onto their I-pods like I do (or CDs like I used to) and other people who hear these mixes might want to use these tracks. Who knows, this way could see some tracks even being signed if they are popular enough?
Better get back to my own track then...

Exactly. You're the first person that came to mind for the Old School CD, so get producing some Old School.
....and then there's the Bulbz....

Great feedback on this people! I'm real glad to see it's taking off!
What I suggest is from now till, say, 10th December, we can pitch all our ideas together so far & we can see where we stand. So get working on those tracks people wether it be Old Skool, Nu Skool or Futurecore. LET'S GET PRODUCING!!
***THE PAST, THE PRESENT & THE FUTURE ALBUM, IDEAS DEADLINE IS 10TH DECEMBER BUT THIS IS ONLY A HALFWAY MARK TO SEE WHERE WE STAND. THE FINISHED CD WONT BE READY TILL 09 @ SUM POINT! LET'S GET TO WORK & SEE WHAT IDEAS WE CAN PITCH MID DEC!!***

:) I'll try and knock a track or two up for this but the deadline is pretty short. Had a near complete 94/95 style track on my parents comp that never saw the light of day, will have to see if I can grab that and finish/update it.
Hopefully I'll be able to get at least 1 track ready to submit though. :)
Would be good to hear some Ionosphere oldskool on there. 8)
Someone should do a mix that uses tracks off all the disks (going from old to new) using their favourite tracks from each.

thats a great idea Bulby, I couldn't do i as i'm 100% vinyl but i'm sure we could decide closer to the time.
Don't worry about the deadline too much Bulby as this is just something to work to. I'll set another after that anyway. This is basically just a halfway point to see where we stand

The chances of the tracks getting signed are slim to none unfortunately.
If you release and unmixed album as a free download then people will just DL that and have all the tracks there to use. Why pay £1 to download a track that is on a label when you can download an album that it is on for free and get exactly the same version?
Its a good idea tho Ken, good look with it!

This is just the start though mate. If this is as big a success as I plan it will be then this will only be the attention seeking CD & part 2 could prove to be the money maker but we'll see how things go.

It would certainly have some authenticity as an oldskool track then ;D.
