Taken is a good movie! Watched Role Models earlier, it's a decent comedy.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno will be my next watch, Kevin Smith is awesome!

I found it boring, mate thought it was OK. Watchable but certainly not a good film.

I saw Quantum of Solace a few weeks ago, I must say it was one of the most forgetable Bond films I'd ever seen. There was very little that was original, the camera shots for the chase sequences were poor and it was difficult to judge what was going on.
I liked the idea that the film was continued almost straight after Casino Royale when Mr White was caught by Bond and then taken for questioning. But overall, even though it wasn't a bad film and I like pretty much all of the Bond films, this one was disappointing.

28 days later
mad max
braveheart/medieval crap
gladiator/gladatorial crap
There's 4 I can remember off the top of my head and was over a year since I saw it and been trying to forget it ever since. It was like the writers and directors were 5 year olds with ADD and couldn't decided what they wanted to do so just changed the concept to some film they'd watched the other week and thought if they didn't link the scenes it would just work out fine. The film is a hemorrhoid.

Awesome movie, same as 28 Weeks Later. I do see the similarities, but IMO its more because of genre similarities then blatant copying. The theme can also be seen in Children of Men, and these are all quality movies, really hope they continue making these type of movies.

Same as above. Mad Max was a pioneer. Its a shame the theme ended in few half assed movies in the 80's. Though e.g. Resident Evil: Extinction started bringing it back, remember watching that and just being amazed how awesome it is that they brought back the Mad Max style post apocalypse theme. And after watching the extras, that was exactly what they were going for. My point with that is, that some of us love certain themes, and its not necessarily copying, its often complimenting the original. A ripoff is a movie that takes a movie copies it and doesnt bring anything new to the table, IMO that wasnt the case with Doomsday. Its not a serious movie, but IMO highly entertaining.

Braveheart didnt invent medieval crap, its based in history.
