How exactly did he download your tunes for free? - I know illegal downloads, filesharing and all... but how did you know it was him? LOL

Seriously though, let's not make TKV an hero (commit suicide for all those people not familiar with what you should gladly not be familiar with).
Lmao, *******.

all i can think is that he either openly admitted it or someone saw his IP address when he was illegally downloading.

Basically he bought a bunch of tracks from one of the stores that we release through, We get statements saying when & where the track was bought and who buy.
On this day in particular the only tracks that had been bought were by this one guy. The very same day they appear on a file sharing forum that we keep an eye on (along with most of the hardcore scene). The tracks he loaded up still had the time & date stamp & the name of the shop he had got them from.
It's not rocket science to figure out.

He uses the same username and details on myspace, the sharing forum and here. There is a kind of code of practise never to let forums know (for the reasons that we can see here). Loads of them feel safe enough to use their own usernames or things you can easily track back via google. I can do some more names but i cant really be arsed.
I sent a screen grab to Compulsion which also shows the extent of the uploading and downloading he has done. I cant just link to the forum or it would have all sorts of consequences.

Yeah man it's pretty easy to call it case closed!
Just such a shame when people work like mad to get tracks out there then someone get's them from a store and within minutes put's them up on a file sharing forum.
It was the only track of ours paid for that day so whats that £1.50? Then the same day it ends up on a forum where 80+ odd people down load it for free. That's revenue that's needed else where! Jon has chickens to keep for god's sake..Why wont anyone think of the chickens?!
TBH there's little to nothing we can do about it so naming and shaming is our only way of getting back at some of them. May seem trivial to most but not to us. Alot of work goes into all CLSM releases and it's just a real downer to see it being dished out for free without consent.

That just doesnt really happen.
I read that if one of those agencies that shuts these things down finds something like this, they write to the isp who then can take really wild action like suspending the naughty person's account! Haha. Its ironic that the so called 'fans' are the worst enemy of the acts they share!

What happened to those letters that were supposed to be sent to people in the UK who file share regually warning them that they have to stop? there was some big thing over it but I never heard of anybody getting one.
