If you were gonna mix only four artists, you should at least have placed the track in an order where their tracks aren't all packed together..

 I used to be a S3RL whore too, but this is ridiculous! 6 S3RL tracks in one mix?!

hey guys thanks for all the nice and not so nice critisizum i know rydo dose cover ups and i like some of them but i dont use them except in mixes i dont play them at partys and i am new at mixing. no i dont just play hardcore i play hardstyle as well but here is a link to my mix for those of you sceptical people out there

and if you want i can do a few more for you guys and i normaly don't bunch up tracks from the same artist but the tracks mixed right together and i mixed them and when i played the mix i didnt set up order that i would play the tracks in i just used my ear sorry the mix didnt meet your quota, for being a dj of only 3 months i am doing very well and i would appriciate it if instead of critisizing someone on the track list or the track critisize them on the mixing the art of why people dj they do it for the music the music they like not the croud and if you play for just the croud personaly you shouldnt be a dj well peace out check out the mix

Moving on. The mix itself. Don't load a mix with only a few artists/labels. Try to keep it as varied as possible, even if that means only changing the artists up a little and sticking to the same sort of style, at least it's something. I think everyone loads mixes with their favourite artists and labels when they first start mixing (i was guilty of this too - maybe not to the same degree though), but you must get out of doing that. It makes the mix seem really, really uninteresting. Fair enough you say we should criticise a mix based on the mixing ability of the DJ, but track selection, to me, is a BIG part of that DJs ability.
And BTW, a DJs job IS to cater to their crowd. For your own enjoyment also yeah, but if you can't read a crowd and be able to play what they want to hear, you won't be booked to play out live. Simple as. You are new to hardcore though so my best advice is to learn more about it, try and delve deeper into all the different styles. Check out different labels. Listen to artists you wouldn't normally listen to, just broaden your horizons my friend.
Anyway, good luck with it mate, hope you stick at it and can look back on this and laugh.
