Track selection is one of the most vital talents as a dj and in some cases the only one. Theres quite a few djs in hardcore that cant mix all that well (hixxy) but play what the crowd want.

dont give up mate... Also learn to take bae critisism and use it to ur advantage

thanks for the advice and thanks for the help. I understand that the ability to make a track selection and read the croud and play what the croud wants to hear is a big part in a dj career but when you make a mix it is kinda hard to play what everyone wants to hear and everything elce when everyone is mostly djs on the site and they arnt standing in front of you dancing. but i do try my best and no one should get pentalized for doing that i think you would agree. i am not concerned with the track selection as a beginer dj i am more concerned with the whole mixing aspect as i get that down more i will then look threw and make a better track selection. but be on the look out for a new mix coming up in the future neer future. But thank you again for all the critisizum it is all welcome i need at as i am just starting out,.

Well I think most people dont like this rydo fellow for just adding acapellas to midi songs, but as silver said, people starts from somewhere... but this is abit to obvious.

Tho, I would rather listen to the mixing than the tracklist. If it's good mixed, then your good, but if it's shit, your shit, not even a good tracklist can save you from that... not even me :(

Or just do like me, Just record a mix so you can fit some tracks on a CD. Don't give a shit what other says about the tracklist, just mix what you like. There are no rules for online mixes (except maybe the legal aspect).

There's a whole thread on ush.net about the Quality Control on IMOdownload.

Ofcourse it makes them look bad, but even newcomers need to start from somewhere. I don't think the likes of Hixxy, Styles or Scott Brown sounded as good as they did with their first releases.

rodeo's starting off..
we all started off somewhere..
if he's only just getting into hardcore we should look pasat the fact he likes some of the worse dj's because perhaps he has yet to discover the better ones.

i dont really want to say much more. the mix is ok, but improvement comes in time and experience.

and im shocked at wilky's earlier feedback.

And your point is?
As soon as i become aware of a more constructive way of being angry at idiots i'll adopt a different approach.

I'm sick of wading through page after page of shite written by kids with nothing better to do than try and look clever at other people's expense. Every other topic ends up as nothing more than a pathetic game of oneupmanship between various nobodies with the intelligence and wit of my wife's hair straighteners! Add to that the daily 'oh, woe is me' topics and we have the ingredients for a bigger disaster than MRSA, the collapse of the world banking system and global terrorism put together!

My memories of my 6 or so years as a member of this forum are mainly good ones, and i've been lucky enough to talk to and meet some great people - some of which will be lifelong friends. Most of those around now (and you must see a change too Leto) make visiting the site slightly less appealing than a visit to the STD clinic with my mother to keep me company!

Happy christmas everybody!

....I'm surprised that, like me, you haven't developed a sixth sense for this type of topic

and learnt to avoid them.

Happy Christmas Dean.

I agree that there definitely has been a change. And, I suppose you have the right to be angry about it.

But we can change this by making posts of our own and creating new threads that aren't more of the same instead of watching this forum go down the drain.

I'm guilty of the same thing...

And Merry Christmas everyone!

To be fair, was that not a "woe is me" post?

Whinging about this doesn't help any sort of situation, and more to the point, it's pretty offensive to EVERYONE on this site when you say things like "Most of those around now make visiting the site slightly less appealing than a visit to the STD clinic with my mother to keep me company!". If you don't enjoy the company on here, and you don't like the content then why are you posting?

I don't want to start a fight and believe me i'm not getting up at you, it just seems like a massive contradiction to yourself, and i'm trying to understand where you're coming from?
