Funnily enough, i knew you'd have something to say Andy

I didn't say the site was ruining my life, or indeed causing me any great hardship so no i wouldn't say it was a 'woe is me' post. I merely felt the need to comment on something i've observed to be happening a lot lately. Part serious, part tongue in cheek - you obviously haven't seen enough of my posts to know that.

If it IS offensive, it's only offensive to whoever deserves it. Don't be so oversensitive, you don't need to accuse me of offending everybody - it's not like i burgled everybody's house on xmas day and peed on their turkey!
If it causes debate, all the better.
If it makes the odd person think about how they act, even better.

And i know i won't have offended ONE person who knows me or how i am - Unless they're the type who cries at High school musical then they're a lost cause to be honest!

I don't agree with a lot of that post... but i \'m going to leave it because its not even worth talking about.

To be fair though, i actually don't really know you. So yeah it might all be a misunderstanding. Who knows, i dont want to argue about it, i gave my opinion, you gave yours... There's nothing really left to say is there?

Don't fret Rodeo everyone starts somewhere. I've been trying to produce hardcore for a few months now and still sound like shit.

- Use tracks from a lot of different artists. Adds a lot of variety and flavor to the mix.
- Mix the order up. Don't have songs from the same artist in one chunk of the mix.

Would like to hear your next mix!

hey rodeo, next time just don't post a tracklist, and avoid this drama.

keep at it bro. proper mixing in my mind is paramount, and if you have mixing that's as tight as a cats butt hole then without a tracklist, people wouldn't say negative nancy shit about it.

sure, vary up the tracks a bit but when it's well mixed then who fcuking cares what tracks you use, especially when most people don't actually know who produced them. if they go well together and it's pleasant to listen to, the average listener will be happy either way.

one time i got a mix off of tncrecordings.com, and it was by d-lyte and almost every track was off of tnc, do you think i cared? no, because the mixing was dead nuts and the songs went well together and it sounded great.

as a dj and event promoter that's been doing this for quite some time now, that's what's important to me to hear.

my two cents, take it or leave it.

To stop the personal attacks from happening I think you should ban 'Influx' - His the whole reason why this shit all started, he thinks he knows **** all and think he can prove his point.

He thinks his always right, calling other people "numpty" etc... real internet warrior.

****ing jerk.

bit of a laugh at this post.

1. i cant recall him making a personal attack on someone who hasnt flamed him first. if your talking about the raindancerob post, read it properly, he wasnt making an attack. there might have been wiser ways to do what he did, but thats another issue.
2. ive seen other flame wars on this site which influx has had nothing to do with.
3. What if he really does know **** all?
4. He can and has proved his point before - but im not gona try finding them for you, i cant be bothered and you probably dont want to know anyway
5. "He thinks his always right" -- as a general standpoint, everyone thinks they are right. thats why it is called an opinion
6. "real internet warrior, ****ing jerk" -- smelling a bit of hypocrisy here.

not really trying to offend by this post, but think your post is the perfect example of what dms was talking about in his whinge section. if you think influx's posts aren't worth your time, dont read them, and you wont feel the want to write a post that a trained monkey could churn out. at the end of the day, im sure you'll come away from the site a much happier person.

I can understand why influx wanted to respond to this thread, dms did target him rather directly in his post. his reply definately didnt earn your attack, and was actually somewhat self-controlled.

at rodeo.
if you were trying to make a promo mix, would suggest mixing it up a bit more. but if trying to make a mix for enjoyment and practise, then **** everyone else and put in whatever you like by whoever you like in what order you like. im sure everyone else does the exactly the same thing in their own itunes playlists.

also i would suggest learning from experience and not telling the people the tracklist until they have downloaded and listened. secondly we are not allowed to openly post tracklists on this website :)

Lilley's right.

...apart from the bit about me attacking Influx directly - there are scores of more annoying people around who never even bother trying to add anything constructive....

Enter Deverse - spectacularly missing the point!

My memories of my 6 or so years as a member of this forum are mainly good ones, and i've been lucky enough to talk to and meet some great people - some of which will be lifelong friends. Most of those around now (and you must see a change too Leto) make visiting the site slightly less appealing than a visit to the STD clinic with my mother to keep me company!

Well said.

I agree with that, but I would just advise people to steer clear of Rydo. Hahahaha.

Personal attacks, to Rydo hating, to constructive debating.

Interesting thread, but like others, I agree not to group so many in one mix!

I'm all for one of variety, and having the same artist that many times is... an eye sore to say the least.

Keep at it, you'll get better. If you try to, that is!
