http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/01/27/killed-for-a-bottle-of-wine-115875-21074074/ Same old same old... An inocent family man has been killed over a bottle of wine! It was a Sunday evening & the gang where drunk (who gets drunk then?) and couldn't afford their own so thought they will kill someone for theirs! Just another family torn apart in broken socialist Britian!

God this pisses me off. Those thugs deserve to die a most horrible, painful death and I hope they do!

Im sure it will be plasted on the papers who they are. It says one is 20 & the other is jsut 15 that are being questioned. It is early days yet but this hapened in July 07 to another man in Warrington who tried to defend his car & got killed infront of his daughters. The guy in this story also died infront of his daughter. I bet they will only get a few years as well...

during football season a lot of ppl r drunk by the afternoon. 1 saturday i started drinking at 9am and didn't finish till 330am
but that story is pretty sad. sounds like typical stuff that happens here in the states, especially urban cities like here in houston

Btw, all my condolences with the man's family and friend.
I just think Smoogie blaming it on socialism is stepping over the line.

that doesn't make any f**kin sense
there are parents who raise their kids extremely well and they end up becoming monsters as grownups. and some kids who are treated like shit as kids and grow up to be great citizens. there is a limit as to what parents can and can't be blamed for. i doubt their parents taught these kids to kill ppl for alcohol. and these kids weren't retards i'm sure. they should know the difference between right and wrong and 15 is old enough to know the difference.
in the end it was that kid's choice to follow in the footsteps of the 20 year old. if you choose to disagree with me, then so be it smoogie
i'll just blame your parents for raising you to become so closed-minded

Education starts in the home. Obviously not every child who does something like this has suffered due to bad parenting, but if the parents aren't setting a decent example, then it's hardly surprising that things like this happen.

Couple of things, they didn't think 'we can't afford out own so we'll kill someone for some' that's retarded, and Britain isn't socialist.

Our personalities are shaped by our experiences, it's no coincidence then every serial killer and psycho in history seemed to have had a ****ed up childhood.

When I meant socialist I think it is a big shame that stuff can still happene like that in a counrty which has everything! This isn't Africa! No one has a hard time in Britian, only people who choose that way!
