I think the school should give a basic and good education to children... the family has a big role in education, but also the school and the friends...

It wasn't: if you'd read it's intended to show Smoogie the difficulty of life in Lancashire in the 80's

I saw them & they were Ok I supose. Not sure what it was about but I loved the Lancs accents! The girls in it where ok as well!

No offence but this sounds like the type of topic my grandad would bring up..."whats happeneing to the country we used to be great and powerful and now where full of thugs killing people for a bottle of wine bla bla bla..."

Not sayin thats what happened is right or anyfin and i feel very sorry for the guy and his family but things like this have allways gone on and allways will do its just more of a thing is made of it now because of press n stuff.

Just because it's always happened doesn't make it right though, does it? Incidents like this are a sad reminder that problems do exist in the country. The mindset to kill someone over a bottle of wine is questionable to say the least.

Yeah I know thats why I said "Not saying that its right or annything and I feel very sorry for the guy and his family" I was just pointing out the fact that its not only this generation of teenagers that have done things like this.

It has happened alot in the past but it just seems to get worse as time goes on! I mean in this day & age why does stuff like this still happen? This is what I meant over socialism, we live in a counrty of freedom & welfare & yet some people (only a small few) go out & waste their lives away when in some counrties there is nothing for some people & people find it hard to get by yet here (in the UK) there is just no excuse what so ever & the papers are always trying to make excuses for them (hard up bringing, no disipline ect) maybe if we stopped caring for these lowlives & stopped giving them what they want then we wouldn't have this problem? 'Poverty' is no excuse for crimes like this!
