Im now a fan of Old Skool Trance, Early German stuff! Im talking early mid 90s stuff.
Old Skool Ibiza stuff like Livin Joy- Dreamer & Tall Pall- Rock da house
Early Gabber has taken over Bouncy Techno now as my favorite type of Hardcore covering years 1992-1997 but no later! I class it as just Hardcore though as is traditional. Happy Gabber is also still top in my book!
Bouncy Techno still gets me going like nothing else but I find im leaning towards harder stuff but still like Bouncy (not in a dirty way ) but have heard most of it. I have a new Bouncy Techno mix up if anyone is interested! The Rez heads loved it!
Happy Hardcore will always get me going, just heard most of that too & like the harder Gabber stuff more (but still love Hixxy's early stuff) but will have a new Happy mix up soon.
Old Skool as in early 90s will always be with me as well like with everyone & love all early 90s stuff from breakbeat to Gabber (Rotterdam) & early Scottish to Ibiza classics!
Upfront Hardcore is somehting I no longer class as Hardcore now... Im sorry but basslines do didley squat for me unlike a bassdrum so I won't be going to any H.T.I.D. raves in the near future
Feefrom, I find is similar to 1997 Dutch Hardcore just not so hard! What happened to Bouncy Freeform? Should have taken over Upfront Hardcore!
The 80s! Other than some old 80s pop-dance classics I like a rave tune but don't know the name of it yet but when I do you will be sure I will put it up here!

Yes sorry, forgot to mention Eurodance there. Will edit! Hot tune though & love it when it comes onto the clubs! I hope Raverbaby never remix it with Lisa Abbot singing over a trancy version of it! Love that Ibiza hands up sound!

in my opinion u cant beet proper happy hardcore the cheesy basslines and lyrics that just make u smile evrytime u hear them :) 1 of my fav mixes is hixxys and re-cons on bonkers 15 tht jus sums up wot i class as hardcore at its best

not my favorite but one track (or 2) that stand out is Scott Brown- Trance Sect/ Lost Generation (Kevin Energy Megamix) which I own the vinyl of with two older version of Lost Generation (Original Twisted Vinyl & Original Bouncy Techno). That is how modern Hardcore should be like! Real uplifting!
