its the counter next to your play button nd such.. just click hold nd drag up/down for faster/slower bpm

but the way you done it yes it does change the bpm in some point of view.. you got more beats per minute :P but the overall bpm prolly doesnt get affected by it.. the screen i made that area changes the overall bpm

well the first track will still be on beat since its basically half of the second songs bpm. i dont know if theyll be the same but i guess you could do that if you wanted. but i doubt theyll get off beat since they're half of eachother

It does not change the BPM. The BPM is always going to be what the counter is set as.
You will simply add more kicks into one bar of music, it has nothing to do with increases in tempo unless you were to double the BPM counter from 175 to 350 for that bar.
P.S. Don't use that kick. ;]

what if he were to set the BPM to 170
and the entire song consisted of just one kick drum per bar and one snare per bar and one note per bar?

when i render that incredibly boring 13 minute track consisting of a kick a snare and a single note....and upload it on here
..you wont know whether i set my tempo to 170bpm......or 85bpm
and even if you happened to guess correct....i would tell you that you got it wrong!
muahahahahahahaha...
im off to bed now - night yo! :D

Well it would be a ridiculous song and rather deceiving, but it's really no different from putting a 1/4 time measure into a 170 BPM song. Would it sound like 170 BPM? No. But to get the song to play at its original tempo, would you have to play it 170 BPM? Yes. So BPM =/= amount of kicks per bar.
