the human race would be so different if it went back to the whole "survival of the fittest" thing...
by the looks of them i wouldnt doubt theres something to the whole gene thing, how the body handles fat and its distribution..
plus thats shitty media headlines - "Family who are two fat to work" - its only the parents, one of the girls is in training to be a hairdresser (very on your feet job) and the other is on jobseekers allowence, and anyone on that knows that you have to proove you are actively looking for work and "sign on" every two weeks, each time prooving you are still looking for work"
so yeah i do feel sorry for the girls, clearly they havent been brought up in a healthy way and probably made to believe by their parents that they are like that and their is nothing they can do.
hopefully once their both out of college (by the looks of things its just the parents who cant work else the girls wouldnt be going to college) they will be able to get out of that house and start moving around, get into a job where they have to keep moving.
the parents are clearly the problem imo - fruit and veg being too expensive??? thats complete bollocks - its only expensive when you come to the end of your food shop, after buying all that fatty shit and THEN have to think about purchasing it...
im on a diet at the moment (trying to loose the 2 stone i gained when i moved back to the UK) and when i did my ASDA shop it was shed loads cheeper, because insted of buying all those vegetarian meals and chips and pizza, i was spending that money on salad and fruit and healthy stuff.

I'm with Triquatra on this one, you dont get that fat by just genes. I mean you can be overweight because you gain weight easily, but thats just unhealthy lifestyle going on there.
There was a document i watched where theres this whole group of people in UK trying to live of the goevrnment, you know trying to come up with some sort of sickness that you dont have to work ever again. I think people like that should be banned from getting any benefits untill thei've payed their dues to the society they leech from (unless ofcourse if they really are that sick that they cant work.)

no matter what type of disability u have, there's always something out there that you are capable of doing. except maybe vegetables. it's just a matter of senseless pride that these ppl have, that they dont' want to take on menial tasks that they see as beneath them yet they don't have a problem taking hand-me-downs
but that's pure lazy. I am actually probably 100lbs overweight. but i still held a job, and i walked around. i would never ever live off of benefits because ppl, or i, believed i was too fat to work. i'd rather kill myself
and yea i believe in survival of the fittest. it's a shame that humans can't go thru a vicious process of natural selection as other animals do. i'd b great if all the homeless ppl, ppl living off benefits, and just waste-of-skin leeches would all of a sudden die. o and life-term sentenced ppl in prisons. less ppl to worry about, more resources for the rest of us. too many damn ppl in this world and something needs to be done about it.

unfortunately it doesn't look that way. when you have fast food restaurants where you can get a whole hamburger for $1, then yea it makes fruits and veggies too expensive. but that should be beyond the point.
and some grocery stores are changing it around. here in TX, HEB has all the produce (fruits and vegetables) as soon as you walk in, so you won't have an excuse not to buy them towards the end.
