1. £1 trollies that don't work, need i say more, they need to get some one to sort them the **** out!
2. old people in the way, and the way they mumble at not being able to find something which is usually in front of them, it's really bad between 2 and 5pm, a whole army of white hair men shop around at 1mph
3. kids running around in the candy/mags section, if their parrents weren't there, i'd quite happily run them over and not look back
4. security guards in the booze section that look at you as if you're a theif, it wouldn't matter if you were prince charly looking around they'd still give you a dirty look
5. the way they put chocolatebars. bubblegum and ****ing batteries and shaving products at the tills, im not that stupid, if i wanted them i would of bought them earlier, im not fooling for those tricks the stupid idiots
6. other people, just other people basically.

meh
only 2 things i hate about supermarkets
1. other people
2. Self Checkouts - i dont use them, they suck i hate them "PLEASE PLACE THE ITEM IN THE BAG....i did.....PLEASE PLACE THE ITEM IN THE BAG.....erm...i did...UNRECOGNISED ITEM IN THE BAG....wth!.....UNRECOGNISED ITEM IN THE BAG...umm...PLEASE WAIT FOR ASSISTANCE...
by this point my blood has boiled to a point where i cant even see straight
so yeah - i make a point not to use them most of the time i get through normal checkouts whilst and im still waiting for my friends who laughed at me because i refused to use the self checkouts - because their all standing there waiting for assistance...
god i hate self checkouts - they PAY people to do that, why the hell should I check myself out!!!!! hire another person you freekin cheepscapes!!

I hate how Sainsburys change the price of beers every few days. Sometimes it is £6 fior a crate of 8 Fosters, then £7 & sometimes a bot more than that. They seem to think people will buy it as a bargin & then come back when it has gone up but still buy it anyway!
I go to Asda coz a crate of 10 Fosters is £7 so I know where to get my bargins. I walk miles to Asda (one is where my mate works) and don't mind lugging a crate back home...

One time I got lucky going through a self-checkout.

Nobody was there...so I got a free $7.64 in change for something I didn't buy! And yes, I even waited to see if someone would come back for like 2 minutes, no one was around so I took it and left :|

I just never bothered with self scan, but we hardly get it in Belgium. The only place that has it to my knowledge is the big Cora shopping mall, in Anderlecht (Brussels)

yea self checkout is kind of pointless if u have more than 1 item. even if u didn't have all the probs that y'all mentioned bout the machine being stupid, it still takes longer to check urself out than it does to go 2 a person register.
