imho even if they dropped the '18' it will always be regarded as 18 unless they rename the series starting from bonkers then the next is bonkers 2.....
that would be a shame but hey......
as long as sharkey is on one of the disc's i'll be buying it, sharkeys cd's are the only ones i cain anyway

Sharkey's mix on 17 was his best yet. He is going in the right direction. If they restart the numbers, then that means there would be two Bonkers 2s....two Bonkers 3s...it seems they wouldn't do that. Unless they are just are completely greedy and don't want the old ones to sell because they don't make any money off of it, there is no reason they should restart the series.
I'm glad Brown won't be on it. His mixes used to be my favorite, but many of his more recent ones were very bland. I don't want to call him a "has been", but it seems he has devoled.

browns mix's used to be my fav too, the gabber blows my brain but recently his mix's have gotten samy...
bottom line is really a big shout to AATW
DO NOT RESTARD THE SERIES!! PICK IT UP WERE IT LEFT OFF!
it was ok doing it with HTID as their were only 2 of them...but bonkers is a WELL known & well respected series...it needs to carry on bring on BONKERS 18!!

IF they do restart it and do turn it into another Clubland or HTID wank pile of poo then i wont be buying it and wont bother with Bonkers again. But if im honest i cant see that happening. And with Sharkey 100% doing a cd at least we'll have something most of us will like.

restarting the series will simply overwrite the legacy bonkers has had over the past 14 years. everything bonkers will have contributed to the scene, the high's, the low's, will be lost under a new legacy started by AATW..
i dunno bout you guys, but thats not something i want to happen.

It will be terrible if the series gets a restart. It will be terrible if Hixxy is on it... also terrible if its got Breeze & Styles or Squad E & Recon each one of them are awful I would go as far as saying turn coats. Another thing, it will be terrible if Joey Riot or Dj Kurt are on it. With the crap Dougal as shit out of the studio recently it will be terrible if he is on it... Sadly I can keep going here. I still have hopes... however Im guessing I will be very saddened. For me HU3 is the only thing in hardcore im exited about, after that I might just jump on that Hardstyle bus, might come back but who cares when there is nothing to come back to. Its over by the looks of things in the Bonkers department.
