I knew some (VERY little) Swedish before but I forget it all now since I'm still in school and currently learning both French and Irish and I was doing German up to last year (fantastic language that). A boy can only remember so many languages at once like
But anyway I find the best way to learn languages is to first learn the very basic conversation...

And all that. Then learn the verb "to be" then the verb "to have" then "to go", "to do" and "to see". Then try writing out some sentences and stuff and before you know it you'll be pretty handy at it. You'd be surprised how much you can say with just that knowledge like. All that might only take a week or two to learn like and you'll feel very proud of yourself afterwards

Jag talar inte svenska
Its hard to learn any language if you dont use it on a regular basis. We have to study Swedish here, so have studied it for like 3 years in primary school. But cant speak it at all.
