I retract my "hixxys mix is fab" comment. After listening to it all i would be embarresed if i was hixxy. How that guy can be called a DJ after that wow. The tunes are good but the mixin in most parts is bad, i mean really bad, also its blatantly obvious he is mixin mp3s of different bitrates as the sound dips from one to the nxt or gets xtremly louder. ****in awful hixxy mate. Most of the tunes dont even go together. Hixxy mix is the worst of the 3, sharkey 2nd unknown 1st

stop tripping over ur own tail..

I would NOT buy the same CD twice.. I have every track from Disc 3 on other albums and on vinyl. Hixxy's mix is a nono

Unknown hasn't owned this mix at all.. His CD has no mood and has far too much softcore trash on it. Anyone in favour of 'Discoland' and 'Fly on the wongs of love' on a bonkers cd is an absolute chav noob. I mean, really.. Must be pointed out that not even clubland x-treme hardcore stooped that low. What Unknown was thinking to select those tracks, I seriously do not have a clue... Other than that, he seems to have selected hard-dance - hardcore - hard dance - hardcore in the track list. The tracklist item below shows that...
10. Chris Unknown featuring Grant Paterson - Come Together
11. Dougal & Gammer - Guitar Hero
12. Flip & Fill - Discoland
13. Scott Brown - Pilgrim
14. Phaze4 - You're Never Gonna Know (Scott Brown remix)
15. Sy & Unknown - Hardcore
16. E-Type - Rain

Sharkey has followed his consistent hardness in this Bonkers. It's not quite as brilliant as I'd have liked it to be, but it sorts the men from the boys. We see how Sharkey has all the right tastes in music with a wide freeform selection which appears to follow the same general mood. It's a fun bouncy CD which is what bonkers is all about. Unknown seems to have forgotten this. There's no element of 'Bonkers' to speak of.

Unknowns been a dissappointment and I'm sure in time it'll bite him very hard on the ass.

fair enough. all to our own.

the issue ive had is the follow;
the bonkers of the last generation always had the scott brown gabber mix, or the classic tunes remixes, or sharkeys freeform or hixxys... um.. stuff.
it was generally allot harder. all the underground tunes and slightly better known tunes were on there.
Since aatw's takeover, it just feels softer... discoland would never have been on bonkers back in the resist days.. aatw clearly had an influence in that track being there. unknowns surely got the sence to know that that has no place on bonkers..

obviously discoland has been forced on to the disc so has that LMC track LMC actually is Lee, Chris & Matt... Chris & Matt the owners of AATW.. thats why that is on there...

Scot brown probably isnt on for his own reasons, also dont forget tinytots - discoland is a lassic & would of suited the hixxy disc or had the sy & unknown mix on instead

aatw shouldnt do that... Bonkers is just a tool to support their own existing assets... and its a shame. It certainly makes unknown look bad having tracks like he has on there, there...

sharkey has also received stick about scooter...

bonkers has been nothing short of a disaster in terms of hardcore 'politics' and dj reputations...

another debate is hixxy and his life in the scene. why is he using older tracks? I havent heard allot of new stuff from him...to me he looks like a fading name... however, given the trajedy he's recently had, it wouldnt surprise me if he's taking a time out..

I read somewhere that his brother died. Also, a note in the bonus CXH5 cd suggests this as well.

It reads; "Dedicated to and in memory of my Brother, my biggest fan, you proudly supported me with everything I ever done and every move i made, you are my guiding light - i miss you dearly, night-nights and sleep well my friend x"

It's really obvious some tracks on the last Bonkers were commanded from AATW like the Scooter remixes, but the Discoland remix?

The new version of Discoland is a remix of the version Sy & Unknown themselves had released on their own Quosh Limited label: http://www.discogs.com/Flip-Fill-Feat-Karen-Parry--Insight-Disco-Land-Remix-Only-Your-Love-Remix/release/327446

Unknown's CD is mostly a Quosh Records showcase, not an AATW showcase...

And acidfluxxbass, Happy Hardcore has never been and will NEVER be manly! Stop trying to justify your sexual orientation through it, it's just lame.
