umm i'm sure the idea of a scooter track in the album was the intention of AATW but if u remember from Sharkey's response, it was his decision.

Its supposed to be a 2000+ Classics CD.
I wonder how many times ive posted that now, maybe AATW should have actually made sure people knew that rather than let everyone give Hixxy stick about using old tracks. Not that i wanna defend Hixxy or owt...

Clubland X-treme Hardcore is where he's showcasing his new material. One complete cd, full of his new productions, every year around christmas time. No time out for him it seems, he's definitely not a fading name.

In that interview I think he said ``they asked me to do an older mix`` not ``I`m doing older songs`` so anybody expecting any different is just ignorant and has sand in their vagina because he isn`t playing new tunes (and even if he was half the people here would still bitch because it`s popcore even though he`s been playing like that for years.) Atleast we get a disc full of old tracks we like, as opposed to a disc full of ******** new tracks.

That's one way of seeing it! Not mine, but a good one nevertheless.
What I hope for the future of the Bonkers brand is NOT the same artists doing a cd each time.
Please keep up the variety from album to album and always get different talents to do it, so as many labels as possible get to showcase their new stuff to us through the biggest Hardcore series.

Sorry, but why would you want to buy a CD full of tracks you've already heard? You're paying for the same thing 2, 3 maybe 4 times!

The cd is great for people that are new to Hardcore and don't already know these tracks yet. Same goes for the Best Of Bonkers album... It's also a good recap of songs that were spread out on different albums... I'm trying to explain something quite obvious here, although I personally won't be paying much attention to that CD... For die hard Hardcore fans it is nothing new, but AATW's audience is much wider than that. I would personally much prefer a CD full of new material... I hope the next Bonkers aren't gonna have an old school cd everytime.

Each to their own, but I think it's an insult to those who have supported Bonkers through the years. Patronise them with a CD full of tunes they've all heard before. Certainly not the way I'd have went about endearing them to Bonkers' "next chapter".
Then again, I doubt AATW give a crap about that. They're only interested in the money.

Some people on here..
I meant that I would rather Hixxy`s disc as is than a full on Clublandcore disc, as we all know that`s what it would be had it not been a classics mix.
EDIT - Who`s Jimmy again?

...so was Best Of Bonkers an insult to fans too?
This is the first volume of the newly mainstream distributed Bonkers... a lot of the people buying this cd won't know shit about Hardcore... yet! I'm glad there's at least some kind of re-cap on there.

That was a "best of" CD, It wasn't "the next chapter". Tell me, how on earth does Hardcore's "next chapter" look to the future when it has a disk of tracks that are 8 years old or whatever on them?
As for these people being new to hardcore - I don't buy that argument. This album will likely be bought by the same people who would have bought CLXH. So by that, they'll have heard a good few of the tracks on Hixxy's CD already.
