So I've been into hardcore for a few months now. So far my "collection" consists of mixes from youtube and HTID and Hardcore for the Headstrong. Recently I decided to buy myself some CDJs and a Mixer but the thing is I have very few unmixed tracks. Eventually I'd like to get myself a TT and buy the tracks that I really like on vinyl. For the time being however, does anyone have suggestions for tracks/CDs to buy so I can get to mixing? I've got about 150-200 to spend.

if you want something really recent you'll have to go online to mp3 stores. also, there was a Hardcore Nation 2009 version out there that was released completely unmixed. hopefully someone can get you the link of where you can purchase this mix.
also, no1 classics hardcore was a completely unmixed series, with 4 cds and 60 songs in total. purchasing this album and ripping them would probably be a good investment, however the songs are a bit older.

I wouldn't suggest this album as most of the songs on it were edited kind of like a radio edit with shortened intro and outro... Not the best to learn to mix with!

actually more than 1/2 of the songs are at least 5 mins long. so not a bad investment, and that should be enough to mix with. if you get it from ebay, you'll be able to find a good deal. mine came out to be less than $10 US dollars
also World's Greatest Hardcore has 1 cd that is unmixed and the other 2 are mixed. that's also not a bad one to get, it was sold at a low price. damn, any more unmixed albums out there that have good0-length tracks? i'm thinking of getting into cdjing just for fun

Well there's always An Introduction To Climatic Moments, showcasing some good RFU Recordings stuff. I got mine for free on IMO records, with an order, so it's more than worth it!
