This probably doesn't belong here but play.com and HMV are pretty much throwing away a load of hardcore compilations at about £2.99. THis includes most of the Bonkers series from 8 onwards as well as Rave Nation Anthems and Hardcore 2007 - The New Generation.
I would suggest picking up the older Bonkers since they probably aren't going to make anymore

I agree.
I seriously doubt anyone at HS/MOS cares about people slagging the product off on a forum. If you really want to make a stand, stop buying the products.

I've lost track of the amount of times i've said that on this forum. People still buy the albums though out of "loyalty to the scene", when in fact the effect is the complete opposite. But nevermind, people will buy it anyway. Long live the scene

Aye, I think they're trying for some sort of moral highground which says "I'm more Hardcore than you because I buy the albums despite them being shit". This kind of attitude is also highly prevalent in football fans who'll refuse to criticise the team and tell you to have faith when the team is getting pumped week in, week out.
Sometimes you just have to realise that it isn't the best course of action. Maybe if you hit the producers in the pocket, they'd wake up and start bringing some new ideas through. Many people sit on here and moan about the music, yet buy the albums. If enough people took a stand, they'd soon get their arses in gear. Buying albums indicates acceptance. So long as it appears there is acceptance, nothing is going to change.

Don't you have a track on there? Why did you agree to that if you don't support the album?

yes i did a remix for the album!
but i'm not talking about the album in that way, i'm using it as an example!
like i said the damage is done, not just in the present but in the past aswell.
this isn't the first time people have said stuff like this about an album!

Basically.
It's frustrating as owt, but unfortunately it is the case. People won't stop. Then of course there's the people who actually like these albums (fools ), but hay-ho, nowt we can do about it.

Most of MOS compilations do tend to be rubbish or contain stuff thats repated across 3 or 4 other compilatiosn that they've released. The last MOS compilation I bought was Helter Skelter vs. Raindance - Hardcore 2007. Any releases after that just haven't got the same energy
