Really? I found the mcing was just minimal enough, and it actually added to some of the songs! The Times Of Our Lives is just not the same without Whizzkid, and **** Me I'm Famous is quite bland without Storm.

I have to agree (apart from whizzkids lyric on "Something good"), but you really cant compare Mc's on a cd to Mc's live. I genuinly have friends whose main reason that they go to raves now is to hear different and new Mcing because the music is the same each rave. (They go to a rave pretty much every week).
Mc's can help keep it fresh, true sometimes they can be annoying as hell. But if its done right it can only be a positive for the music.

And i bet most of the people on this site who hate storm have never actually seen him at a rave so cant really judge.

I have, and he was shit. Couldn't hear a word he was saying and I just found him annoying. The 15 year olds seemed to be enjoying him but then at that age, you would wouldn't you.

Sometimes MCs can be irritating, but then can add that something extra when done at the right time and place

An example of this is found on Himbo & Static's New Beginning! where on Himbo ft. Himself - Need You In My Life, Static adds something at the end of the track which really helps to fill an empty space. He seems to put out meaningful lyrics as opposed to some random crap that I've heard

Oh, dear.

Who's this "we"? I nothing about his epic-ness on the M.I.C. Yeah, 1,2,3, uh, get down with me....

Why do people insit on cheapening words like; epic and legend by throwing them at obnoxious, attention-seeking, twats with microphones?

Bidda, bidda. Can i has legend badge?

DanK IOW just ignore everyone here, everyone used to love Storm till it became 'cool' to dislike certain people in the scene. Alot of people here just sit on the forum all day and don't even go to raves anyway, yet love to complain about them all the time.
I say this because your going to get the impression that everyone dislikes someone you clearly like so much but that is definately not the case, he's very popular for a reason, which is because so many like him. It's just that in recent years he has appeared to let it go to his head abit and that is where the problem lies.

Haha you are an epic legend!!!!

I dont like hardcore MCs, never thought much of storm tbh, good at getting a crowd going but has crap rhymes.

Hardcore is too fast and bassy for an MC to sound good in a club. More or less all the MCs I have seen are drowned out because the bass is so loud. You can hear someone saying something but you cant msake out what.

I like MCs in bounce music cause you can hear what they are saying, but its a much more high pitched and musically simpler genre.

MCs who go bidda bidda bee, just wind me up, no matter what the genre is

Which is why Storm MCs over breakdowns and the best part of tracks so people don't forget about him or misunderstand him. Cock.

@Hard2Get: I've never liked Storm and i've never agreed with the whole hate someone because you're supposed to or it's cool to. I just think he ruins every tune of every set i've ever heard with him on. Same with Whizzkid. If i wanna hear robot noises i'll go watch ****in Transformers!
