Seems like nobody noticed this, but this is wrong! You mean MC Storm/Al Storm! DJ Storm/Al Storm are the same guy.
Alstorm and dj storm are the same guy. Mc storm isnt either of them
Yeah, that's what I said.

Really? I found the mcing was just minimal enough, and it actually added to some of the songs! The Times Of Our Lives is just not the same without Whizzkid, and **** Me I'm Famous is quite bland without Storm.
Personally, I don't really like MC'ing, except it's already in the original track. Like in Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Everywhere I Turn, etc
But I don't know, is that still MC'n ? Or already singing ? I've seen Whizzkid MC'n over "When I close my Eyes" with the lyrics of "Ain't seen nothing yet", was pretty good imo.

Wow, and I thought they bashed MC's on my boards. WOAAAAAAAHHHHH
I have only seen Storm in person twice, and both times he had the crowd, and me, going bonkers. As for his personality and ego, I have had nothing but geniune phone conversations with him and he seems so down to earth. Even when I had to postpone my huge CB7 lineup, Storm was the first to call and let me know all was good, understood, and we would work things out in the future.
I honestly can't wait to bring him out for a Candyball!

as far as true hardcore goes. first off, mcing is generaly in front of a live crowd. true hardcore has mc2 rapping (a part of mcing) over hardcore. which is fine. it is quite minimal and again imo i like it. im also an mc though so there ya go lol. as well songs produced with mc's lyrics in them are good depending on the same criteria as any other song i.e. if you personally like it or not. people who like mc's will probably like these kind of songs. people who hate mcs will think it's ridiculas.
my point is. they're trying new things and pushing the envelope of what an mc can do in hardcore. as an mc i appreciate this.
i cant knock anybody for trying new things. especially when they smash it, most of the things they say...iMo! lol
STORM IS ****IN SICK ANYWAY, HOW IS HIS EVEN A DEBATE!! jeeeeeeeeeeeeze lol!!

what!? I dont dislike storm because it's cool to dislike storm, I dislike storm cause i ****ing hate him. and I speak for all other storm haters here. your defense is useless, you all go "oooooh! you're a hator!!" yeah well, haters are usually the most passionate about the scene.

You dislike storm because you hate everything about hardcore.
Meathead got it right with this
quote: Which is why Storm MCs over breakdowns and the best part of tracks so people don't forget about him or misunderstand him. Cock.
MC's that dont know how or when to shut their mouth should never open it. I want to hear music not some dickhead babbling over the top of it. An MC who can shut their mouth in the good parts, in keep everyone going during the track changes and build up, but then shut up, can be really good and effective. As for
quote: been to 3 raves where storm's mc'd and he's got the crowd goin every time which is what you want from an mc right?
Ecstasy makes spice girls sound good, and you could get a crowd going by letting a couple of headless chickens run around the stage. At least they wouldnt talk over the best part of tracks.

^^^ Drugs don't explain everything, I think you are exagerating here. I saw Storm in Spain @ HTID In The Sun 2007, FYI I was sober for the most part. MC's like Storm and Whizzkid are part of what makes the UK Hardcore scene so amazing in my opinion.
The people on these boards bashing Storm are for the most part the people usually bashing the artists Storm is mcing over at raves, like the Raver Baby Crew, Dougal & Gammer or Sy & Unknown. Why the hell do these people even care if they don't listen to the music Storm mc's over in the first place?
It is also true, as many of them admitted it on other threads, that a lot of the whiny bitches around here don't even bring their lazy asses at parties to confirm all the reasons why they hate everything. There weren't any 15y/o in spain in 2007 and Storm wasnt mc'ing over the lyrics of the tracks. It is true that people were properly smashed on the dancefloor, which is how it should be

MC Storm, epic MC??? you really need to get some taste mate.. hardcore would be better 10 fold with ****in MC's
been to 3 raves where storm's mc'd and he's got the crowd goin every time which is what you want from an mc right? he does what he's supposed to and good.
no thats called drugged up morons who listen to a squeaky balless guy and all follow suit... its really bad on the hardcore scene and this is whats keepin the "kiddie factor" within hardcore
Ok so I don’t normally post on here... but I had to jump in on this. Wilky you are one uninformed, misguided, arrogant so & so. Who are you to say that? To Generalise all the people who go to raves as "drugged up morons"? And which rave's exactly are you talking about here mate? Just the ones where MC Storm is on? Or ones with any MC at all? Your telling me that these packed venues with hundrends of people dancing all night long, all over the country, every weekend are just there to hear "a guy with squeaky balls" MC? I think not my friend. I cant belive no one on here jumped on you for this yet. You also said that people who go to events are F****g unbelievably stupid. Well like it or not the raves are what make this scene so your pretty saying that to people who love & live for hardcore...
Wot are you going to do just stop dancing and go into the corner every time an mc or song comes on that you don’t like? MC Storm has been there for years mate, a long time. Doing the big raves & the little ones. He gets the crowd jumping, every single time. I don’t even rate him that much myself but what your saying is just such drivel...So anyway bash him all you want but dont think your right.

not only that, whoever's in charge of doing the tapes for those 'tapepacks' and cd packets, WHY the **** do they have to have the MC's voice about 300% louder than the music? infact, why are they even on the tapes at all when an MC is only need for when it's LIVE. ****s me right off. hundreds of 90s dreamscape sets are completly ruined.

i like mcs and i like mc storm,i,d class him as my favourite mc and i used 2 love hearing tracks with him featured on them
but i have 2 agree with some people about talking 2 much,i realised this with mc storm a few years ago,he was coming out with more rhymes and mcing alot faster in parts,as someone already stated i think his ego was geting 2 him and he felt the need for 2 many rhymes in his set and he prob over does it sometimes, which he wouldn,t have done years ago
but i still like him even though i haven,t heard him live in a while
