I am not ashamed to say it I love listening to video game music even when I'm not playing games! I wanna hear what other people think as well as which ones they like most and not just the 8 bit songs either!

There's plenty of Hardcore versions of old game music nocking about. There's even one of Zelda, made by Eufififofnnfnf (i haven't a clue how to spell his name lol)

hell march ftw! whenever I hear that all I can see in my head is a couple units of mammoth tanks kicking ass across the map =P
a lot of japanese games have their audio put on cds. my favs that I own are probably street fighter 2 & secret of mana
most of the wipeouts have had really good soundtracks....future sound of london, photek, underworld, orbital, prodigy & the chemical brothers

Gotta love the music from Plok! everything about that game made me feel like a romp through an 80's hallucination. Everything from the incredible percussion to the rich amount of layers and on an SNES game no doubt. This is what I consider to be the pinnacle of video game music. The game was ****ing hard as hell though!

Ooh wow, I listen to VGM all the time, at home, at college and work, and even in the car driving around. Favorites have to be Mass Effect, TES Oblivion (Jeremy Soule is a genius), some FF, Chaos Legions, Deus Ex (Awesome OST), and OMG!!! GUNSTAR HEROES OST)
