This!
My mate bought it when it first came out, and one night about 2 months later when he was really ston.. erm... hungry.. I managed to trade a bottle of sunny delight, a big bag of crisps and a mars bar for it!
The box in now really battered, the discs are scratched to hell and it barely plays, but i still aint parting with it!
Incidently, if anyone else still has this, is your cd1 a bit strange coz mine is, if you hold it upto the light you can read right through the playing side of the disc and see the writing backwards, but cd2 is just like a normal CD, weird.

I'm amazed how everyone can just name a track that got them into hardcore! The music isn't like that, its a scene like all other dance music, that has evolved fom the Acid house (and hiphop) days. I remember when I was 17 (a long time ago) and the Acid House scene started, and I was awestruck, this is what I had been waiting for all my teens, It was new, different, totally against the chart shite, you had to look for it, The thing is me and my mates went to school (also a few had shitty jobs) and just waited for the weekend to come! You would here a track that blew your mind, a few weeks later it was "old"! And thats where hardcore came from, and it took it by the horns and made it even better! Bigger nights, bigger ideas, always evolving! You couldn't keep up with the tunes, there was always a new one that was you favourite of the week! So its a shame I see people putting up the same old familier tracks, that they are used to!

Ofcourse you can name the track you got into!
Ofcourse people will/would have heard it before they actually knew what it was.
I did have both Off Yer Nut !!! 1 and 2 on disc, and I hard Scooter on the radio, but it wasn't untill I started to illegally download music that I started getting into it.
So, to be honest... Happy Hardcore - Shooting star was what really got me into HHC :P
