this is what i know about the whole thing
"daddy dj" made the original song in like 2001 (i think)
"basshunter" bought the wrights to the melody and used for "Boten Anna"
"s3rl" use the melody without talking to jonas (aka basshunter)
then after, "s3lr" let "i am x-ray" promote "pretty rave girl", noobs (like me) thought it was "i am x-ray"s song, after a while "i am x-ray" posted a blog saying it was "s3rl"s
thats what i know, i might be wrong lol
with the basshunter songs........ in the album "Now You're Gone - The Album" he used his melody from "Boten Anna" on i think 3 or 4 songs... i thought they were these 3

"All I Ever Wanted"
"Please Don't Go"

Basshunters production, like anyone elses, is the samey, so its no wonder it sounds the same. And where you did you find out that Basshunter bought the rights to the melody? He most have done that AFTER he got signed to AAtW

Depends what you like really. Some of us like the good old Happy Hardcore, even the newer Happy Hardcore. That track had a glimps of the good old days. Me personally, i got a bored of it rather quikly cause before it i had listened the Daddy DJ and DotA tunes a lot, so it didnt bring enough "new" to the table.

Daddy DJ made the original. Then Basshunter and S3RL BOTH (yes, both, both, both) got permission to use it for their own songs, and Daddy DJ appreciates both tunes very much.
I Am X-Ray basically uploaded it to his MySpace and then it spread as his own tune via LIMEWIRE (L1M3WIRE), because that's what all the kids use these days, so it spread hugely as his song. S3RL had nothing to do with it.
This thread is also about 4 years late... this all happened ages ago.
