3 was always my roommates in college favorite...they liked the series because it was slow enough to dance to=P

I really like 4. I have it playing in my truck all the time but I tried to get into 1 and 2 but I haven't given them a proper listen.

Personally I like them all. Buy them all then one day if you want to sell them you have the complete series.

All! They're all interesting albums.
If you find extras for 2-3-4-5-6, let me know, I only have 1 and 7.
BTW I don't think the 8th one is an official album or has ever had an official release.

The 7 REAL Happy2bHardcore chapters are great, but prepare to hear not so great mixing, especially on the 1st one (He Trainwrecks bad on that one). Anyways, The 1st 3 Chapters are all mixed at the original tempo of the tracks, so that's why there is some slight trainwrecking, but I've been told that starting with the 4th one, all tracks were set to 175bpm. Frolic stated that the 7th one ends at 177bpm, but there is trainwrecking on all of them, but those cds feature tracks that weren't on any of the Bonkers cds, so that's what makes them so special! The 8th one is CRAP! Don't waste your money! And Silver stated that none of the tracks are liscensed on that cd. The only real problem I have with the cds is that the 7 Chapters all say "Happy Hardcore Breakbeat TECHNO Anthems"....Neither Happy Hardcore nor Breakbeat are forms of Techno.

haha, TECHNO anthems :P
yeah, the mixing gets quite dodgy sometimes, especially in the first chapter it seems. I recall some mixes being really sub-par todays standards on the old bonkers as well... I guess the standards have evolved for the better!

so, 8 was just handed out, not actually sold?
guess it's mot 'that' bad then. :P
Anyways, I got 3-6, and 3 was basicly the one that got me into hardcore.
but like warped_candykid said. I think the tracklisting is very good, but the mixes doesn't really represent it (even tho I couldn't hear stuff like that when I first got into it ^^)

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on that one dude, you're just going to have to buy one of his cds and judge for yourself. I personally love the cds for the track selections! Chapters 1-7 were all legal releases through Moonshine as far as I know. Silver would know more. These cds were mainly the only outlet for Hardcore music for many Americans who weren't DJs. I wouldnt have known about this genre of music if it wasnt for Chapter 4!
