I'm not sure how those prices transfer over to USD, but I'm fine paying the prices on Junodownload.
Which is about $1.49 for 192kbps, $1.89 for 320kbps, $2.75 for .wav
Using an online conversion it seems like 1.04 Euro (I don't know how to do the E thing) 192kbps, 1.32 Euro for 320kpbs, and 1.92 Euro for Wav.
I usually just buy the 320kpbs, because unless I really want great quality I don't pay $2.75 for one track.

Juno Download have the best prices. I also like on that site if you buy the whole realese you get it a little bit cheeper. But they dont have much hardcore :(
Does someone know if an artist gets the same money from selling a track on Juno as from selling on Serious sounds?
Does serios sounds takes more money from the artist?

Yeahh, but Hardcore isn't the only genre I listen too. So sometimes i Have to travel outside Juno, but I usually save.
And Redwings had a post in one of those older threads explaining like how much imodownload, junodownload, and stuff took out. And how much you had to make to break even. I can't remember which thread though.

Are you people for real? It's stupid buying music? For £2.00 a pound a pop, and that's usually for a full quality .wav, you're getting hours of listening pleasure that an artist has put there time, energy and passion into, for your benefit really seeing as how they make virtually **** all from them, and you think that it's stupid or too much to ask to reward them with two measly ****ing pounds. Set of ****s really aren't you?

don't blame us for being ****offs, blame itunes, it what set the price, and tbh, that's fair. why should we pay more for a MP3, than a vinyl or CD? and what costs do MP3 has? codec licenses and webspace/bandwidth, virtually never ending supply. What does Vinyl/CD cost? pressing, contracting, distrobution, limited supply etc

I agree, £2 is way to much. For something you don't get a physical copy of its really pricey. The fact that it costs upwards of £3 to get the wav is ridiculous as well.
If you buy a physical CD from somewhere like HMV it will cost you LESS for the CD and all of the artwork.

Is it so that its maybe just much for us in Sweden, or countries outside England? £2= around 27-28 SEK
A CD single costs about 19-29 SEK in Sweden. But then you get a CD, not just an MP3.

well, no format is ideal for everyone. Someone might like A, someone might like B and hate A, and someone might hate both A and B and only buy C... wtf am I rambling about :P
Some of us buy music for the the music (I'm quilty of that)
Some of us buy music to collect them (I'm quilty of that too to some extend)
Some of us don't buy music.... oh well I wont drag this further
