ALBERT EINSTEIN'S RIDDLE
ARE YOU IN THE TOP 2% OF INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD? SOLVE THE RIDDLE AND FIND OUT.
There are no tricks, just pure logic, so good luck and don't give up.
1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours.
2. In each house lives a person of different nationality
3. These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.
THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?
HINTS
1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water.
ALBERT EINSTEIN WROTE THIS RIDDLE EARLY DURING THE 19th CENTURY. HE SAID THAT 98% OF THE WORLD POPULATION WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SOLVE IT.
It's alot more doable than it looks just stick with it. If you get the answer DO NOT post it. Don't post any hints either you'll ruin it for everyone else.

I think the "top 2%" part is a gimmick. Provided one has good problem shaping and solving skills, along with a good understanding of logic, they could solve this.

Exactly.
2%.
from checking my answer, i saw that einstein had a mathematical formula for somethin like that. so math whizzes would've figured it out pretty fast. and yea as far as all that solving stuff, there is some truth to that
this 1 girl was dumb as fuk in my store and she figured out a simple riddle while i couldn't. so yea even tho i solved this myself, i don't believe i'm part of that 2% my grades in college don't reflect on that lol
Instead of replying to ye both with PM's I'll just say here you got it perfect. Proud feeling isn't it? How long did it take ye?
About the solving it thing though I don't think any maths skill is required really. It helps of course because logic comes hand in hand with maths like but my Dad did it quicker han me I'd say and you could only barely say he studied maths
It's also worth noting that Einstein said that only 2% of people could solve it, in the 19th century.

I got it right? Woot.
Didn't track time, although I think it took me around 10-15 minutes?

There's no way in hell only 2% of people in this planet have those skills...
Oh geez now that I think about it...
*cries*

Einstein wrote it hey? Just like the conversation with the lecturer where Einstein proved the existance of God? I'l believe that when I see the riddle with his name copyrighted to it. Anyway, nothing to difficult, much like a sudoku.

There is no proof of this.
And, to me, it didn't prove anything.
Many men, evil, vile, malicious, did it in the NAME OF GOD! Feeling the love of god, and praying, if you will, to a higher being. WHILE destroying lives, and feeling no compassion. Killing many people, in the name of god.
The Knights Templars actions could be considered vile, and many actions brought on by the church could be considered evil against those they attacked based on different beliefs.
Does the Church somehow not coincide in evil because they're doing it for God? Many other people we call evil today in history did the same.
It proved nothing.
Belief, is the just that.
By the way, I'm agnostic.
I don't know whether there is a higher being(s) or not. So, sorry. But, there is no actual proof Einstein was the one who said that, and then my thoughts kind of wrote the rest. I don't wish to start a religious battle, I meant no harm ;P
