Yeah that's right, where's it gone ?! Nah I'm not talking about oldksool, I'm talking about the tracks that you used to find everywhere back in 2004-2007, happy melody, female vocals, wide synths etc etc ?
I want this back !! The new stuff is okay, but after a moment it seriously starts to annoy me. I actually started listening to Hardcore because I loved these kinds of tracks, but now that there's no more of that stuff, I don't see any reason to listen to it anymore

I know I know, Hardcore is still happy but.. it's ridiculous. It's more 'funny'. All those strange sounds, they sound clownish and retarded. Of course it makes it happy, but this is way better!! Screw Hardcore and the ugly Hardcore Scene!

They don't have that anymore? Do you not get Clubland in Austria? :S

@ Smooge : Sounds like shit @ Fishy : Absolutely not ! @ Meathead : Haha.. sure it sounds a bit commercial but it has more feelings in it, imo. And there's less and less of that stuff, but more and more of the bouncy/electro Hardcore ! Horrible !

Falling over the moon,
And I'm drifting around the planets,
Floating down through million stars,
It would be nice to stay together.
And I'm calling out of the blue,
Can you see me on the radar,
There is something over my way,
And I'm lost in space, forever.

Excuse me? That is one of the greatest Dutch tunes of all time (Anyone heard The Stunned Guy's Remix) If Dutch tunes like that never invaded to Uk back in 95 then there would be no Hardcore these days as tunes like that moved the UK scene away from breakbeat towards a more vocal centred type of Hardcore that still sounds good these days!

These are great tracks you posted Revs, and I have every single one of them in my collection, or at least in my wantlist. Seeing your tastes in modern Hardcore go in the same direction as mine, I don't understand what is the concern? There is plenty of that style of Hardcore being produced these days...
Of course if you only take siggestions from some users on these boards who are more into the obscure and experimental Hardcore that doesn't focus on the uplifting, melodic, euphoric and all around cheesy Happy side of Hardcore, you won't find satisfaction easily.
One album that comes to mind right away when listening to these samples you posted is: Helter Skelter vs Raindance Presents: The sound Of Hardcore 2009
I loved a lot of the vocal tracks on there, maybe you will too?
While you're at it, I would be honored if you gave my latest mixes a listen! I chose mostly upfront tracks, concentrating on the Uplifting, Euphoric and Melodic side of the music that I love so much. You can download my last 3 mixes @ http://www.rave.ca/member/matricks (I know it's a shameless plug, but maybe it can help =D)
