Smoogie I'm not talking about tracks from 95, I'm talking bout new stuff from 2005 or so! Same goes to latininxtc!

These are great tracks you posted Revs, and I have every single one of them in my collection, or at least in my wantlist. Seeing your tastes in modern Hardcore go in the same direction as mine, I don't understand what is the concern? There is plenty of that style of Hardcore being produced these days...
Hmm not really.. there's a lack of emotions in these new tunes. Sure there are tunes like "Never Alone - Al Storm feat. Katie Jewels" but if you ask me this synth in this track sounds absolutely horrible. It hurts my ear, it's too high! I like wide, bright synths, like in the songs I showed in my first post. Producers are now more concentrating on non-happy stuff, or more bouncy/electro style.

Of course if you only take siggestions from some users on these boards who are more into the obscure and experimental Hardcore that doesn't focus on the uplifting, melodic, euphoric and all around cheesy Happy side of Hardcore, you won't find satisfaction easily.
Haha I don't take any suggestions from the users on here as their taste doesn't fit with mine.

One album that comes to mind right away when listening to these samples you posted is: Helter Skelter vs Raindance Presents: The sound Of Hardcore 2009
Yeah but.. meh..

While you're at it, I would be honored if you gave my latest mixes a listen! I chose mostly upfront tracks, concentrating on the Uplifting, Euphoric and Melodic side of the music that I love so much. You can download my last 3 mixes @ http://www.rave.ca/member/matricks (I know it's a shameless plug, but maybe it can help =D)
Let me know what you think!
Sure, I'll check them out.. as a KraftyRadio DJ I can only help you getting better :-D

most of happy hardcore tunes like this one are good... if it wasn't for the 2 min of boring and senseless breaks in the begining and end of EVERY damn song

Give me 1999-2004 hardcore (especially Next Generation/BB) any day. I think I should change my name to 99-04 was the time ;-)

I'm not really big on the female vocals, but I do miss the high pitch sped up vocal samples. That's why I have a respect for Scooter. He still did that on his new album. I wish more people would. I agree that there isn't much HAPPY in the scene lately.
I keep hearing about this Japanese scene. Any recommendations?

Are you having a laugh? Respect for Scooter? C'mon man his stuff is proper cheese on toast and is what non hardcore people think hardcore is and take the piss out of. Stuff like this shouldn't be classed as hardcore imo as it brings down the quality stuff.
As for happy songs, I think as soon as you go down the trance style you lose some of that happiness. Yes you can have emotion, but the Happy goes.
For me true "Happy" hardcore died in 1998. I still like some of the hardcore of today, but I call it that now, "HARDCORE", not "HAPPY HARDCORE".
Proper Happy Track
And the break on this one at 51s
While looking for better day I came across a Gammer and Spencer remix, how to ruin a great track. Then, just as I thought you couldn't get a worse remix I came across the Sy and Unknown remix. OMG how bad is that. The original is WAY WAY WAY better than either of these.

Yes I know what you mean. Many artists are adding different influences into their tunes like electro style elements with less breakdowns with less synths and elements we've been used to in the past. Yeah i'd be like you, preferring the more uplifting happy sound with bit of piano too. Those youtube clips you posted are all good tunes. Dougal & Gammer's remix of My Direction is some tune! Hadn't heard their remix of My Intentions - sounding good.
However there are still many artists producing uplifting tunes - most tunes from Darwin. His remix of My Own is brilliant. Also his new tune Fly Away Now, and his remix of Samba D - Heartbroken which is superb. Have you heard Scott Brown & Al Storm - Shown? It's a great tune.
