Nah not buying that. It was a good game but once I was done with it that was it. Age of Empires I just kept coming back for more.
Starcraft 2 looks like it's going to be rather tasty though. 8-)

That's because Ensemble has pumped out Age of Empire after Age of Empire, and have had many expansions to it.
Starcraft on the other hand is just now actually have a sequel in public eye.

Nah I mean I've still been playing the first one with the rise of rome expansion though. ;p Favourite RTS of all time for me. I played on level of the demo for about 4 months solid while I was waiting to get the game haha.

Ahh definitely then. ;) The 3rd one is a good game but it just seems to have lost something that the earlier games in the series had.

Or for the price of a Wii you could get an upgraded Power Supply, great graphics card, and be set.

Don't expect the Wii to play any high end games.
Sony is trying to stick to a 10 year plan, if that'll work? Doubtful, but it'll last a good 4-6 years.
Microsoft, couldn't tell you.
Get a ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB with a cheap power supply like so, and you'd be set for ALL upcoming games. You'd have enough power, and all support.
The ONLY way you could fail at future games and not last for a couple years to come is if you have a single core, and only 512mb of RAM.
Both which could be upgraded to handle any type of games for the next 5 years tops. I always recomeend AMD because I just love them, for one, and they're the cheapest quality power you'll get. Intel stands no chance in their quality power, for cheap sector.
I'd get AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200 Brisbane 2.7GHz , and upgrade your memory to 2GB, or just add a cheap 1GB to yours.
You said low end, so you're not running 64Bit, and your 32Bit will only handle up to 3GB max, so getting half will help you run anything fine. Especially games, as most of it is pushed onto your GPU, which will handle it fine with the card I linked.
That would run any game you needed in the future just fine.
Now, I'm biased, and I love PC gaming to death. Because it's so easily modified. I can get something to work one way or another, and with a PS3 I never have any "exclusive" out of my reach.
It's your choice. Though a console is a good way to go in terms of not having to know anything, or do anything for that matter, and turn it on and play. But, again, I'm biased!

It was outdated the day of release, it's basically a Gamecube with motion controller. I only own one for the purpose of the Legend of Zelda games, and if speculation/rumours are to be believed then that's going to suck as well.
I used to really love Nintendo, but I want to play a game, not jump around like a loon.

........ i guess my definition "low end" is way different from yours
this is what im running......
amd athlon 4200+ dual core @ 2.21ghz
2 gigs of ram, not sure how fast (has 4 dimm slots up to 2 gig each)
nvidia geforce 6100 nforce 400 128mb (Integrated)...mine one blew out on me, but it was only a 512mb
i think my psu is 450-500 watts
so i think the only thing i need is more ram, and a new gpu card
btw i got this comp free from a dumb friend XD
she thought it was dead and it was a bad psu.....free computer wooo
so you think i just need a new gpu card?
i want one with dual monitor support......im dumb at video cards lol
@JustIncredible well it has good tittles, you just have to look for them
and i would rather pay $100+ for a wii, then $250 for a 360 that will rrod, or $300+ for a ps3 that ive never play a game on

Youu would need a new card, yes.
But don't expect to run a good card with that power supply, you need to upgrade it.
2GB is standard now, you have 32bit or 64bit? Get another gig if you can, if you have 64bit get another 2. I really don't recommend anything higher then 6GB, as then you're just REALLY wasting memory, and it just gets useless.
