my sympathies go out to the irish supporters and the players. imo they were the more deserving to go through. Henry's play was shameful and very disappointing

Gutted for the Irish

In the Korea/Japan world cup, Ireland offered excellent entertainment, the Matt Holland strike against Cameroon, the Robbie Keane goal against Germany along with Mick McCarthy's expression and the dramatic game against Spain.

Ireland deserved to go through last night and its such a shame that they wont, but the whole world will be looking at Henry this morning with disapproving looks and when they get knocked out in the group stage like they did in Korea/Japan I will laugh all day

I feel bad for France, because now they keep Domenech as manager.
If they had a good manager they wouldn't have even been in that situation.

Ireland would have lost on penalties anyway, but I think they should have been given the chance.

im not gonna chirp really because whats done is done and when your out your out and this shit happens all the time in football. ref should be penalized heavily though!

henry is a dick, and i didnt even mind him before. talented player. but admiting after he handled the ball afterwards was extreemly disrespectful. for that he is an *******

all my marbles are left to england now.

maybe next time canada will ****in qualify!
