"just tell me straight up things do you use on it?" is a pretty sweeping term, so he's probably asking what people do with their Macs in general.

Well I use it for absolutely everything that is proffesional. That means music production, film production, webdesign, photoshopping, prgramming, etc. Not for games or stuff like that.

But of course I also use it for msn, writing text documents, reading my e-mails, surfing on the internet, and so on. You can also watch TV and movies on it, but why do that when you have a Sony Bravia not far away from it? :-D

i personally like the dual boot on mine. anyone who sees it is always so surprised that you can have both. the super crisp screen is nice, the giant multi-touch track pad is too as well as the size of the computer. i just find it way easier and better to use than anything windows based.

i use it for recording and general internet browsing. nothing special really, but it almost never crashes as opposed to windows. so that alone makes it appealing.

I have an iMac, its stably stationed on my basements shelf waiting to be thrown away. I've been thinking of maybe reusing it as a boat anchor.

I have it for... personal use? I will use it one day to record music, but for now it's rubbish as it kind of blows for producing music. But I enjoy it for what it is. Photobooth is fun.

Not sure how Macs are rubbish for producing music as stated in the post above...

I use a Mac, I use it for everything. The only reason I don't use OS X is to stream for NAHM (have to use WME...). ;-)

That and teh gaming, but I don't have time for that these days.
