Yeah but Dreadhed was for Gabber I think. Altough he released some Gabber tunes under "Vagabond" as well as Hardcore tunes under "Dreadhed"!

I assure you his tunes on HU3 are far from crap. Love Can Be Real, My Obsession, Club ****er, Get It On... Bloody awesome they are. Especially Club ****er. Man, what a tune!

Nah I don't wanna get any of those new compilations, would be a waste of money, as I already know I won't like most of the stuff on it. If I like some of the tracks it's better to buy them appart.
What? Dude all the best tracks coming out are on those two compilations.

He hasn't.
Check out HU3 and HU4. ;)
I guess those are some of his older tunes which weren't released. And also there no more tracks made only by him. Check out the older Brisk/Nextgen mixes! There were loads of Vagabond tracks in them. So I think he did leave the scene.
That's because he used to be Next Gen's engineer. He engineered for Brisk, etc.
Stormtrooper took over for a bit, now Fracus does it.
interesting, I didn't know that! I guess I always assumed Brisk/Ham were doing this part, but it does make sense when I think of it, considering how the soundworld of the label evolved quickly.
Von X raised a good question though... Is Sam Thomsitt (vagabond/euphoria/dreadhed) still actively making Hardcore? I don't see why we would doubt he is since there's been plenty of his material released in 2009, but it did al involve partnership with Brisk, at the exception of Love Can Be Real.

Ham engineers himself but Brisk does not.

Yeah Enter Heaven is wicked! It's from 2004 I think, it was on the other side of "Coming Closer", which is also wicked btw, a remix of a Trance track, altough if you compare Enter Heaven with newer songs like Stepping Up, you could think Enter Heaven is a new track from today. From the style I mean.. it doesn't sound like Vagabond's stuff from back in 2004.. Oo

I generally don't like new stuff, I don't like the style of the beats/bassline.. I like older CLSM, Vagabond, Ham, Brisk, Cube::Hard stuff.. Common Trimms, lets be honest.. who do you know appart of DJ Cotts and DJ Ravine? lolz
@ Quicksilver: You can show me some stuff on youtube but I'm 95% sure I wont like it ;)

The main question is, where are the tracks made only by him if he's still producing? 'Cause his older Vagabond/Euphoria tunes were the best. When he teamed up with Brisk (Brisk and Vagabond) the quality dropped a bit, the tracks began to sound the same a bit (I thought he just left the presets for Brisk and didn't produce actively). Back in the days he was the peak of UK hardcore, he should return. And don't say that he has tracks on HU3 and HU4. Where's that compared to the number of tracks he put out at the time of NextGen Collection V.2 and V.3?

I cant say there weren't any good Brisk & Vagabond Tracks, because there are loads: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Brisk+%26+V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D.?anv=Brisk+%26+Vagabond Also, It's quite understandable there aren't as many vagabond tracks on a HU cd that there were on a NG/BB Collection cd, since these releases contained exclusively NG/BB tracks... If you compare the number of vagabond releases on HU with the number of vagabond releases on bonkers when he was at his peak, then it makes more sense. Let's wait for the next NG/BB Collection to come out, and then we will be able to compare with the old ones. In the end we still agree, because I miss his first couple of solo releases dearly, and tracks like future is now had something special to them that stood out completely, and it is why I fell in love with UK Hardcore (I couldn't stand anything post 2000 back then).
