After months & months of me slagging off Hardcore, saying how shite it is etc etc. I'm beginning to get the love back for it. Firstly i buy Hardcore Underground 4 & although there's still some of the usual sounding crap on there, overall it's a very good album. Then for some strange reason i decided to buy Clubland Xtreme Hardcore 6 (Which i wasn't gonna bother wasting my money on).
I'm shocked. Apart from the usual Darren Styles, Re-Con, MC Storm crap (These lot really need to leave the scene & stick to what there good at. Commercial crap!!)
Even Hixxy's made a few decent choons. Especially Now You Got Me with Technikore.
This album is far from a waste of money & i'm really glad i bought it. I can't believe how many good choons are on it.
So is Hardcore finally beginning to move away from the Clublandy shit? Or maybe it's just me cos i've had a long break listening to it it seems to sound slightly less commercial? Yes there's still the crap stuff out there but it just seems that there's less of it.
What do you all think?

If they made real Hardcore tunes with hard kicks then I will be back. But they don't because hard kicks are 'dated' apparently (basslines arn't dated then?) so I don't bother with much of the new stuff except Mix 3 on Crush on Hardcore which was all Freeform with hard kicks (and didn't sound dated whatsover, unlike the first mix)
I listen to Old Skool these days because I get more of a feel from the music.

You could just copy and paste the same post into each topic smoogs. Would save you a hench amount of typing time that you could be using to post youtube links.
