So, Raver Baby and Evolution are 2 of the greatest labels of the 2000's decade, but they have still haven't gotten past the millenium change
... So, have any of you people heard any news of their supposedly "upcoming" mp3 store?
And not to forget about the others.
* Junkbox supposedly are having one too, and when is Future World going to start selling mp3's outside uk/us/australia?
* Anyone know if any Makina labels are going to release MP3's except Bit Music and some smaller digital labels on imodownload? Bit Music only releases a handful new (and poorly made) tracks lately. Pont Aeri was already a closed down label before they sold tracks on TrackItDown (prop because of DJ Ruboy). DJ Ruboy stopped releasing his last ones on digi because he/they felt that the piracy risk is to large
* Any more 90's labels coming?

i think it would be a good idea considering there's a lot of tracks out there that RaverBaby has failed to release even in vinyl in its earlier years. But yea I have a feeling if it is in the works, it's gonna be a longer wait.
and yea i would put evolution as 1 of the greats, but def would put next gen & blatant beats above raverbaby

Wel, back in the end of 2003 and mid 2004, hixxy did make a post that their mp3 store was in the making and had some final touches needed. Scott Brown said almost the same at the end of 2008, by letting AATW take care of it. But it's wellknown that these 2 doesn't really like people to listen to their music (contra what Luna-C does)

So basically he has as he rarely releases vinyl, hasn't released a CD in bloody ages, rarely DJ's in the UK & hasn't done a mix on any compilation since Bonkers went AATW. His songs used to be on every CD you could buy but now all you get is a few remixes of his early stuff.
He got me into Hardcore & now it isn't the same with him becoming so quiet, i want him to do another Live-wire CD that be awesome.

I get the feeling that scott brown doesn't want his mp3s floating around. Idk if we'll ever see a real mp3 store from evolution.

It has to do with the fact that the man isn't exactly exposed on big albums anymore due to his lack of releases. Less activity from him must lead to less interest for promoters in booking him.

I would change that "lack of releases" to "lack of tracks". Hixxy barely releases 3-4 NEW records a year and he gets as much airtime as I fart
