I don't personally think RaverBaby will ever launch an MP3 store. The reason they release so little records now days is partially because both Breeze & Styles along with Re-Con who were all big contributors have left to work on new record labels. Also the record label side of things is no longer RaverBaby's main business. It has now moved towards the rave scenes instead.
All those tracks which are produced and never released I don't think are ever intended for release. I think it's all done simply for professional usage only. That and the fact that it makes a hell of a lot of money for RaverBaby when they get used on albums.
As for Evolution's MP3 store, I will believe it when I see it. I don't think it'll be the whole back catalogue but only the new tracks from the past five years or so. I think Scott Brown may have actually said that at some point himself. Much like what Essential Platinum have done.
Neither Breeze or Styles opperate their own record label as such. FutureWorld is actually owned by All Around the World which is why its MP3's are all available to download on AATW's label through Trackitdown.net. I also have the same feeling for Darren Styles' Junkbox that its actually owned by AATW. The web site for Junkbox has been in construction for so long now, he doesn't even have links to it on any web sites like he used to. So doubt he'll bother having them as downloads.

I must agree with this. They probably make very little money from records sales as it is, and the main interest in releasing records is probably the promotional aspect of it. Wouldn't they make even less money out of mp3 sales?

yup as pirating would be a big issue. not only would they make more by having them on albums, but seeing the tracks are pretty much exclusive to them, they draw crowds on the fact that if you want to hear that track, you pretty much have to go see them live

So. There's no need for Hixxy to please his fans or listerners? what a load of bull... but then, considering all the unreleased material already from the get go... Hixxy never really cared about releasing music?

As long as the tracks are released on an album, 99.9% of the fans and listeners are pleased already. Only djs really NEED extended versions.

I think most people here would rather have unmixed, even if their not DJ's
